Raypunk:Jetpacks

For me it's dieselpunk.

Raypunk

Literally any but Steampunk.

any of these besides steampunk

Outside of raypunk all of them are done to death. That's why raypunk. Second choice would be steampunk.

RAYPUNK.
I remember when I was in school and read that GTA2 was going to be set in the future, I assumed it would be with flying cars like in Futurama.

What are some dieselpunkcore games?

I think steampunk gets a bad rep because it was abused and turned into basically a parody of itself by people using the aesthetic, it’s like turning every building in a cyberpunk world into a giant neon sign and having everyone speak in technobabble at all times. That being said, I prefer dieselpunk if I had to choose between all of these. Cyberpunk would be a second choice if it had an ost similar to the tactical legacy ost from xcom 2

Steampunk. I want a steampunk gf.

Fallout 1,2.

Woulder Stalker count? Or is that just post apoc

Fallout is atompunk....

Steampunk, but without the bottom bit. I despise the aesthetics of steampunk, and how it butchers the aesthetics of the 19th century (they had aesthetic taste back then), but I would like steampunk mixed in a high fantasy setting

GIVE ME A SINGLE (1) HONEST TO GOD RAYPUNK GAME

To me the worst of these is whatever this aesthetic is called, its become more common lately and I hate the look, its also kinda makes most stories predictable because of course clean looking city must mean secret dystopia.

Tower of Deadly Monsters

Oh shit I didn't know about this, thanks.
Is it good?

Oops - The Deadly Tower of Monsters is what's called

Raypunk is th Chad option, all lower aesthetics cry, piss, shit and cum at our grand visage.

Dieselpunk, Cyberpunk, Raypunk, anything, punkpunk, nothing, power gap, larger power gap, watching the new star wars on repeat for 60 hours, steampunk

It's average, you'll have a pleasant couple of afternoons

>gta 2
>futurama
>in school
we know youre underaged newfag, give up the act

the mad max game is pretty good, the car part is amazing and the car part is good but the combat is basically button mashing

I feel like 5th element has all of these.

Raypunk for peak ludo.
Dieselpunk for peak kino.
Steampunk and cyberpunk kinda inbetween with Cyberpunk having a very slight chance of achieving both

Bitch, I remember being in junior school on the playground imagining a top down GTA but looking like Futurama. I was 8 and now I'm nearly 30 and NOBODY has delivered on my stupid imagination.

Dieselpunk and Raypunk are kino

What’s worse is that architects are trying force this aesthetic into reality

Dieselpunk seems really unrefined as a genre

Attached: worldwar1dieselpunk.jpg (900x498, 133.84K)

I used to dream the same shit. Or a "GTA Harry Potter" clone. Or pokemon. And me and my buddy used to always say "Wouldn't GTA be cool... WITH ZOMBIES" when we were kids. Dead Rising delivered on that one.

It does seem rather SOULLESS

it is. I woouldn't say that is the best example of what most people mean by dieselpunk though. Out of all of them dieselpunk is supposed to be post-apocalypse, with the diesel part referring to an importance of combustion engines, etc. Think mad max and go any direction from there and you aren't wrong.

hmm. based on a cursory google search it seems like it's based around 40's aesthetic and technology

Cyberpunk although Dieselpunk comes in a close second

I've heard the animated Batman cited as one of the sole examples of this genre.

It’s pretty much a matter of preference

>steampunk
Victorian Britain

>dieselpunk
Imperial/Nazi Germany

>raypunk/atompunk
Cold war USA

>cyberpunk
Futuristic Japan/China

Cyberpunk is the only legitimate genre with any coherent meaning to its name
