Is it just reddit or does Tomb Raider really have no fans?

The original games have outdated design that cannot be replicated today.
The LAU trilogy is good and has best Lara but they were overshadowed by cinematic Uncharted.
Nu-Tomb Raider is just generic cinematic game with crafting, exploring, rpg elements etc. nothing like originals.
It's a washed down franchise that probably should be dead at this point.

Because, as it turns out, making a derivative piece of shit with a feminist version of Lara Croft, and trying to inject 20 different game mechanics into a diluted Tomb Raider game that's already been butchered to hell and back with terrible game design, is bad for retaining fans.

I like the Reboot series more than the old games.
Lara is actually attractive, good graphics, solid action shooter, and fun exploration.

I've watched a couple of the games. But it was the most bland looking game ever.

Yeah i know it has new fans i just can't find them... i'm a reboot fan but the groups are limited and reddioit is the largest amount of us i could find

I tried to like the new TR games, but I remember you kill your first enemy and Lara has a border line mental breakdown over it then the section right after I killed probably a dozen+ soldiers with my bow not even 10 minutes after that first guy. They tried to make the game so serious, and give Lara a character deeper than a big titty gun slinger in booty shorts but the writing/planning starts falling apart basically immediately. Never felt like playing the games they made to follow it up.

Tomb Raider 2013 was mad boring. There wasn't a single gameplay element that made me want to keep me playing.

You're right, the Tomb Raider games sell much more than those. Best selling RE game has sold, what, 8 million or something? Tomb Raider 2013 has sold over 15 million copies.

They all moved on to Uncharted or fan service games, depending on why they liked TR in the first place.

This shit is so ridiculous. I don't understand why the new generation is like this. They want to be so sexualized and liberated, but the moment it doesn't fit some very specific narrative they allow you're just met with ridicule and condescension. I like to roast coomers as much as the next person, but there's a line between roasting, and just showing your assblasted because someone wants a character to remain that character.
