I went back to play the DLC after playing Future Connected. Why doesn't this game have a besitary? How did they expect people to find all the random enemies for the Blade affinity charts without just googling it?

2 has also better music

Better gameplay, better music, better characters, better environments that are not just "It's BIG". Sure the tone is lighter at first but it goes off the tracks not long after mid game.

Story and setting felt more Xeno.

Battle system I agree (although I wish in XB2 you also could auto-attack while moving and also I wish the movement speed when your weapon is deployed wasn’t so goddamn slow), but that said, I kind of wish there were more humorous moments in XB1 (nowhere near as much as 2, but a little bit more would have been nice)

1's battle system falls apart by the time you reach Mechonis. You can blow through several packs of enemies at the same time by using chain attacks filled with boosted AoE arts and/or Melia. Your party gauge will fill up by the time your chain ends letting you do another immediately. Combat in 2 stays interesting longer and isn't as easily cheesed from what I remember.

1 is still the better game overall

I see the two as part of the same story so I don't care that much also blade waifus.

To be fair, it worked. I have now memorized the name of nearly every type of enemies in Xenoblade 2 so when they tell me "go kill 6 Elucas in Leftheria" I know to keep an eye out for big caterpillar things.
