DOOM Eternal

The best single player fps of the past 13 years

No, I enjoyed Eternal, but this is way better.

I agree, although the level design was pretty dodgy sometimes

What happened in 2007?

that would be Doom 2016

Halo 3

i enjoyed both nu dooms but titanfall 2 is still my favorite

It has too much enemy variety for an FPS.

Half Life 2 Episode 2, Crysis.

I dropped it, and not because the ammo memes, but because the same repetitive maps with platforms over and over again.

No.

>Titanfall 2 was better
>Bad Company 2 was better
>Far Cry 3 was better
>Deus Ex HR and MD were better
>Arcane Dimensions was better
>Project Brutality w/ Hell on Earth Starter Pak was better and everything DE wished it could've been

It managed to be both better and worse than Doom 2016. Only difference is that when I tried replaying it I got fed up with its horseshit before the first boss. I could at least squeeze out 1 more replay with 2016. Eternal I have no intentions on going back to ever again unless they let the community mod the game. 6/10: great potential for the inevitable third game. I just pray they get rid of the fat spic as their dev lead

>Project Brutality w/ Hell on Earth Starter Pak was better and everything DE wished it could've been
Shut up you fucking idiot

Jesus what a FUCKING faggot

Fuck off brutal fag. No one likes you here.

>No OG doom games
>Retarded "brutal" mod with unbalanced gameplay
You are a fucking idiot.

It does. A shooter game should keep things simple and have at max 8 types of enemies. Too much enemy variety in a shooter is a massive flaw.

even if you like the game you have to find this fact depressing.

1/10

Made me reply

meh

FPBP

Stay mad
>Loads of enemy variety
>Loads of weapon variety with 3 different BFG weapons
>Proper level design that is actully very good
>No rock-paper-scissors BS
>An actually good OST (Mick Gordon is overrated)

The map pak was made with the mod in mind as well and fits perfectly. Also, I find it funny how DE's final boss was a copy of Hell on Earth's yet somehow worse.

Forgot:
>No cringe inducing story with soi-tier dialogue that is forced down your throat in the last half of the game

Thank you sir, now everyone who reads this thread can feel better about themselves for not having such a trash opinion.

>OG doom came out 13 years ago
Do you have brain problems?

It was pretty shit. Even 2016 was better.
FPBP. Shame this shit is stuck on origin.
based and correct

And 1 more for good measure:
Every weapon has an alt fire that A) doesn't require you to find a station, B) doesn't need to be upgraded to be good, and C) can change the way you play (for better or worse) depending on which 1 you get

IT SMELL LIKE BITCH IN HERE

...why?

EA seems to move more games towards steam.

Maybe they realized it's both better and cheaper to shut down Origin.

Since EA pass works with the steam versions they can just sell the pass on steam, get money monthly and not have to pay any server overhead. There's going to be a disgusting amount of steam passes soon, but that's a devil I know.

Because shooters are supposed to be simple?
