>game x is boring when compared to game y
I can respect your opinion and we can debate about it
>it's also SOULLESS XD
nvm, you're a retard
Contracts gives unique weapons for SA in every single mission, has a final mission that can be stealthed, kino aesthetic and music, can be SA'd in every mission without any starting equipment, and more.
It is sublime.
this but ironically
Shit taste.
Did they get Jesper Kyd back to do the soundtrack? I miss that nigga like you wouldn't believe.
People bitching about nuHutman shows how retards out there take new bad old good as gospel
absolution has mad soul, you don't have to agree with the changes but you can't say there wasn't a vision behind them
Simply: it's not story based. BM had each mission tailing the other in a story. H18 is just several sandbox maps.

Nope, he's probably never coming back and he's responsible for at least 40% of the SOUL.
Sure, it did have a strong direction but I think that it was so resoundingly shit that it falls down a few places. 47 gets wrecked at like every opportunity in the game.
WRONG
Have you even played the old ones?
a terrible vision.
Everything is following a linear checklist of scripted events
2018 is the best Hitman game. Fight me.

tfw you'll never have music like the harbour music from C47 ever again. All aboard the James Bond train!
bond has far better music than nuhitman
I started it a week ago. I thought Miami was amazing. Then I kinda hated Santa Fortuna. Mumbai is just okay, but too big. Whittleton Creek was good, but why did they implement this dumbass “Find the clues” thing. Its just boring busy work on consecutive playthroughs.
I’m on Isle of Sgail, and I love the atmosphere. But it just feels boring since you just have to keep stacking disguises to get anywhere near the targets. They made it so restrictive
oldman: All entites in the level follow a schedule without you.
numan: People will just stand for the entire duration of the level waiting for you to come close before they do anything.
I really liked the slick and colorfull style season 1 had in its maps, it had a bright but elegant look with a lot of soul, then season 2 ruined the graphics, in my opinion they should have more diversity in the season 3 maps ranging from classic sickdark maps like in contracts to happy go lucky maps like paris in season 1
What really lets it down, aside from changing the whole premise that makes Hitman good, is that there was no real replayability to it.
Once you completed it you could choose which weapons to replay a mission with. You got the same shit you did the first time around. Sure, you had the contracts part which was basically "dude just get people to make the game interesting to save us time and effort haha" which wasn't all that bad. Pity there wasn't any kind of patch released so you could play the fucking thing after they took the servers down.
tell me this level isn't pure kino
>People will just stand for the entire duration of the level waiting for you to come close before they do anything.
But that's not true. Why do you lie shitposter?
It's not pure kino, it's fucking trash.
What exactly happened in development? Did they decide to make them full length games after getting too much flak for being episodic?
Santa Fortuna is a love or hate it affair because it's the most obviously segregated map in the whole game, but I kind of liked it. There's a lot of ways to get in and out of the different zones and it all feels pretty cohesive
Mumbai would be great without the slums section, or at least have the slums serve more of a purpose. Finding the third guy there always felt like more of a pain than the skyscraper or trainyard.
Whittleton Creek should have honestly done what Colorado did in Hitman 2 and make it so that completing it once means doing the puzzle is optional. You can just run to where the clues are and get the immediately every time too, which feels weirdly designed.
shit taste
It's completely true. As an example, the headmaster in Marrakesh. The daughter will stand there and then a convo will be triggered when you get close. That one doesn't even matter but the whole game is littered with that shit.
numan is designed that zoomer-babbies can feel like a stealthy badass without putting in any effort. it's why it has that shit where it literally tells you where to go for every objective so SA is handed to you and then even worse, the whole game is balanced around that mechanic so half the shit is impossible to find normally. It's like morrowind quest design vs Skyrim. In skyrim you're practically forced to use the map because they expect the player to be retarded and rely on quest markers for everything
giant but otherwise empty open worlds
with generic NPCs
the old games had generic NPCs too but they were contained and unique on a level basis
they also used different weapons, had different outfits and models, and different accents
and the music didn't suck
and the game wasn't about saving the world killing bad guys, you were just murdering bad guys because someone was paying you
and you didn't have diana harping in your ear 24/7 constantly
and you didn't have a detection ring, if you fucked up guards noticed as soon as you entered their line of sight
nice map and minimalistic hud with a straightforward and non-artistically-stylised interface
the new games could have been so much more but they feel so bland and the gunplay feels so fucking awful
they should make the next one feel like contracts, the gunplay in that game looked and sounded fucking amazing, and the atmosphere and doom and gloom was perfect (even though it was a hallucination) for fitting in with the whole assassin who is detached from humanity thing
47 may as well be a generic marvel superhero in the new games, he's too uppity and charismatic, rather than a cold blooded killer
also the machine gun guards blowing you away with rapid fire pistols with no recoil or much feedback when being shot is fucking awful
and the XP and unlock system is garbage, along with the point system, we don't need that
game is basically a walking sim that plays itself with set-piece assassinations too, thinking outside of the box is pointless and unrewarding
>and you didn't have diana harping in your ear 24/7 constantly
And the original Diana had a much better voice. They ruined her with that wank new plot. JEsus christ what were they thinking?
