I love Chaos Theory but the game is a series of linear corridors. It's propped up entirely by atmosphere, music and Michael Ironside. The best stealth game is Thief 2 hands down.

I appreciate your list even if it has some stupid choices. Based on genres I have experience in, I'd put Quake 1 as the best FPS, AoE2 + The Conquerors as the best RTS, Fallout 1 or Gothic 2 Gold as the best WRPG, Xenogears or Mother 3 as the best JRPG, Donkey Kong Country 2 or Yoshi's Island as the best platformer and Super Metroid as the best metroidvania. Your 0451, stealth and point & click picks are really on point and I doubt anyone can argue otherwise. They really are the best in their genre.

Fucking final fantasy mystic quest, the game that literally does not let you do anything on your own, you just move the thumbstick forward and watch the game play itself, you cant deviate from the objectives, you have freedom over what you can do, you just follow the goddamn objectives the game tells you to, no exploration, no world building

Persona is the same fucking shit, its literally the one truly game movie exclusive to the ps4 and switch incels keep begging for a port of it
