Retired weeaboo here. VNs are boring as fuck. Even the top tier ones like Higurashi, Saya no Uta, etc, are better off being consumed via another form of media. Posturing as if VNs are some exclusive higher art form is counterproductive in the long run (both to yourself and the otaku space as a whole).
Vtubers are not videogames.
VN's are not videogames.
Song of Saya. It's every bit as fucked up as this user could have hoped.
cry more wannabe tranny janny
>VNs are ya playin'
>playin'
You mean reading
Yes, I also wrote that no one would cry if that guy has his throat crushed by a cop
I just started Remember11, finished I/O recently and it was pretty great. Regista has a great track record.
Remember that time Zig Forums hyped up Zero time dilemma and got BTFO'd?
Good times

I started Totono but holy fuck the beginning is an absolute slog, I hate all of these characters. Even the bro voiced by Hiyama isn't likeable.
I also read Majikoi A-3 and boy did the translation go to shit in that one, plus only Stacy's route was half decent.
There was that one VN about a group of misfits living together, and the MC losing his way in life
The old grandpa character is played by notto this shit again I think
Zig Forums shilled it and the premise seemed good, but the writing was god awful and the pacing and design of the routes were not put together very well
>the beginning is an absolute slog
I find this a problem with VNs in general. So many treat the reader as if they're legally retarded.
I'm not sure what to play after finishing Renge's game.
I think I could write a better VN then school days if you gave me a prompt of “it’s a love story” and then made me huff a can of paint stripper it’s just that shit story wise
MC is a bit of a Chad though
>vtuber thread
nice boat
does eratohoTW count as a vn? i'm between vns right now, not really reading anything
>511133817
>thread full of people discussing visual novels
>obsessed westcuck tranny has to try to derail it
every single time
>thread full of people discussing visual novels
imagine playing all ages console ports of eroge just so you can stream it holy shit
if some faggot eceleb makes school days popular with zoomers i'll be very sad
>that one VN that crashed an entire company
>main heroine gets NTR'd
what the fuck were they thinking?
I want to fuck the dog
>>main heroine gets NTR'd
The heroine cheats on her boyfriend with the MC.
Sex with Ahoy-chan
I still have to finish those streams.
But I'm guessing considering its on Youtube, they probably skipped all the death scenes huh
I got to give Miko props for playing on a keyboard and mouse. Even though a controller would be better for certain games she played such as GTA 5.
Makes me wonder why a lot of them play with K+M when they can easily plug in a controller?
>GTA
>Better with a controller
GTA is not a fucking FPS. You don't need to pop off head shots and driving is better with a controller.
>Makes me wonder why a lot of them play with K+M when they can easily plug in a controller?
They do? I got the impression most play on console. The PC gaming scene in Japan has always been pretty minuscule and even now that Steam has finally become relevant there a lot of people still stick to consoles. Then again, I guess a lot of them are into the doujinsoft scene, especially Marine, so that might explain it.
vtubers usually play on PC actually
Does Pyre count? Because I started it tonight and loved it.
This is a stealth off-topic thread. Please kindly move to your appropriate board.
That's kind of neat.
>Holos exclusively have to use iPhones
That sounds less great.
what happened to that game by studiofow?
I heard they royally fucked it up
oh right it was called subverse
is this pasta
I've yet to find a video game that has a story as good as good VNs
>The PC gaming scene in Japan has always been pretty minuscule
This shit has been preached for too long that nobody knows what the truth is anymore. I believe Japan's PC market nowadays is not much worse than any other countries. They even have some hardcore PC shops there at akiba.
