This is the best horror game of all time

Prove me wrong.
Protip: You can't

7 is better

The original RE2 is better.
The original RE1 is better.
Do you know why user? Because they created and solidified a genre and didn't just take an old idea and regurgitate it 30 years later.

Hue

No, they took an old idea and literally made it better. Stay mad nostalgiafag.

Literally the only thing scary are about RE2Make are the jumpscares. And I thought jumpscares were widely hated? Like, unless it's a zombie appearing out of nowhere or Mr X bursting through walls, it's not scary on its own.

>The original RE1 is better.
No it fucking isn't.

>The original RE1 is better.
The Remake improved literally every aspect of the original video game. Resident Evil only solidified a genre cause there were no scary games. Name one thing it did better?

pacing

I would argue it has the best gameplay and I would like to see more of that. But the game itself is too short. Even with all the extra missions its still less than 15 hours of content. I want to see that combat with maybe a better dodge but with a much longer campaign. RE2 is a good investment for no more than $20

>Because they created and solidified a genre
Next time, do a little research before posting.

the game becomes garbage after you leave the police station, the sewers and labs are terrible.

>REmake2 fags wil become the cancer infesting RE threads now.
well at least Re6 fags will be quiet

my favorite for sure.

I'm glad that we've finally settled that RE2R is better than RE2 and all other Resident Evil games

>I would argue it has the best gameplay
It's another forgettable ots shooter you fucking troglodyte

>less than 15 hours of content
If there's over 10 hours of content, that's very good for a horror game. Can you name a few with that much playtime in a blind single clear? Serious question. I'm so fucking sick of these hide and seek games trying to be horror.

remember journalists tried to say resident evil 2 was racist because the police station was used as the gathering point for survivors
you hear a cop on the radio say "all citizens congregate and gather at the police station"
and the article went on to conclude that the game was racist because for niggers and shit, police stations are literally hell because of all the systematic "keeping the nigga down" shit that comes from there
so basically what i'm saying OP is how fucking dare you be so insensitive right now during this horrible and thought provoking crisis

that dust hasnt settled yet

wow so just like the original then

>horror
its literally an action game

I can respect that. It's the best survival horror one.

It's not even a remake. It is trash masquerading as RE designed for people too retarded for anything that deviates from the standard ots control scheme. It doesn't even require exploration or item management ffs.

cope

jesus fuck everyone on this board is super autistic about game length. here's a tip: RE games are all very fucking short and can be finished really quickly. the only time they aren't is when they're built like REmake 3 where the game is literally a fucking line.

you're supposed to get good and finish them quickly. they're supposed to be replayable.

in 2020, if you bitch about game length in RE, you've never played a single game or you're a retard. the last time they made a 20 hour RE game everyone fucking hated it

Does this count as a horror game thread? I'm looking for the absolute scariest horror games I can play.

ever play silent hill 2?

>Does this count as a horror game thread?
We're talking about the best horror game of all time so yes.

oh the horror...
