>FPS is tied to resolution
FPS is tied to resolution
>melee damage is tied to FPS
>in game physics is tied to FPS
>jiggle psychics is tied to FPS
Didnt one of the RE games do this?
Probably. Japs have a nasty habit of tying game mechanics to FPS so they almost always break when you try to increase it.
>FPS is tied to the plot
>game "cinematically" slows down
>ingame logic is tied to the system calendar
>FPS is tied to my neck
Try playing Dead Space at 300fps.
name one (1) game
>space is tied to fps
I can name a lot of games
>enemy spawnrate is tied to FPS
You cant even get past the first room in the game without locking it to 30
>turn off monitor
>no enemies spawn
>win da game
man... sometimes it sucks having a brain as big as mine.......
>mgs4
>snake drops gun for dramatic effect
>rather than traditional slow mo, fps is halved
God damn that was fucking awful
>Windowed mode
>The smaller you make the window the faster the gameplay is
>Core mechanics are tied to FPS
>Upping to 60 makes the game hyperspeed
>Makes porting an existential nightmare for developers
:(
>FPS is tied to my dick
>FPS is tied to cinematic standards
Resident evil 2 remake's knife hits multiple times per swing, the more FPS you have the more procs per swing you have
FPS is tied to property damage in the US right now.
how can it not be? Bigger resolution means you're rendering more fragments.
>run in compatibility mode for Windows XP
>run in 800x600
>run as administrator
>game still doesn't work
name literally any game that this fixes
>FPS is tied to resolution
>FPS is tied to every single aspect of the engine
>the game was initially slow as fuck so higher resolutions make it way more playable with no repercussions since its turn based
>the rate at which the game updates what I can see is tied to FPS
>new cpu breaks game speed because it was tied to a specific hertz
>physics is tied to shaders
>games fps is capped at 0 (zero)
I can't into windowed mode, it takes so much away from immersion
>game's fps is capped at the last two digits of the last post you made
scary world
I wish this would work with videos, currently this is my experience
>Open large video
>Lags
>Make window smaller, still lags like as if it was large.
>music is tied to FPS because each note is actually a sound effect
>if you freeze(or, god forbid, alt tab) for a second all of the notes play at once at a deafening volume
