ep1 was for the nostalgia bait and establishing a player base from the existing fanbase that demanded an accurate adaptation from the original game. ep2 onwards, the story is gonna deviate more and more. still, the slap scene is likely one of the things to stay in, scarlet really didnt have much else going for her other than that.
