Played this when I was a kid and it scared the shit out of me. I remember I got as far as the alien ship where some little fucker is behind a shield.

i played a lot of splitscreen multiplayer on this game with my brothers. was a darn good time. besides halo 1+2 i played a ton of this and brute force split screen

I played this, and then played the saturn version and quickly learned how less fun it is on that. It somehow handles worse on saturn than it did on gameboy.

this game was great because even to my little kid brain i felt like i was gonna get snippets of alien information i wouldn't regularly come across, like theres something about a game focusing on a genre back in the day that felt as though they actually learned shit about their subject and actually knew interesting things

I played the shit out of this as a kid, the feeling of being with an AI squad and discovering crazy shit was great. I can't remember it fully but I remember a mission where you're in a sort of dark tunnel with a bunch of squadmates and they all get killed off.

I was weirdly obsessed with this game and probably played it three or four times through, always finding some "free download" site to get it.

Never completed it though, I remember getting to the weird as fuck place and that was it.
