They literally redone the map to be generic fantasy solely because LotR movies were popular at the time and then retconned it in the lore that Talos retroactively changed the landscape. Really a shame.

same here. I played ungodly amounts of Morrowind and heavy amounts of Skyrim but never made it past 3 or even 2 hours.
