I remember around the time No Man Sky was released I had a skype call with my 2 internet buddies, one of them we didn't talk to for 2 or 3 years. It was fun and all to catch up and talk about what's going on in our lives now. Then the No Man Sky came up, me and the other friend were joking what a fucking disaster this game is. Suddenly the other friend that we just reconnected with gets extremely bootyblasted over No Man Sky, talks about how it's all fault of the publisher and the devs dindu nuffin. Well, our main issue was how they lied about everything, especially multi-player. To the point it was still printed on the box but just covered up with a sticker. And his take was that the devs would never ever lie. If they had more time they would surely deliver and it's all fault of the bad publisher.

This is accurate minus the fixing part. Games after release cannot be fixed, specially when it's core is shit by default.
