mirrors edge is probably the only one. maybe assassins creed too in a way

Infamous right at the beginning when you have a few powers

Is this how all portuguese niggas go to school?

>trying to enjoy your vacation and some jackass keeps jumping over you

parkour is the worst

As somebody who does parkour, that video disgusts me. Absolutely pointless movement constant jump cuts from location to location of "oooo loook at me climb this thing, now this other thing in some other random part of town.

Lol people actually gave me money when I did it because they were impressed I guess.

this is targeted at people who know nothing about parkour

I don't know. I played Lemma. It was fine up until it introduced this mandatory world morphing mechanic which lead to a lot of empty levels, because they were that proud of their voxel tech I guess.

Got my eye on Downward and Hot Lava. Frostrunner is free but a bit streamlined.

This.
Mirror's Edge, full stop.

but why is nobody talking about the one and only good game of this genre? youtube.com/watch?v=o9JPvE94Muw

I mean...I guess, as that is the majority of people who will see this stuff.

espera lá, estás a dizer-me que nos somos zombies e o caralho?

There is no such a thing.
All parkour games where bad 3D platforming games with simplified commands and shitty level-design.

>tfw really wanted to do parkour as a teen due to Mirror's Edge and AC.
>at one point I just stopped, got fat, locked myself in and became a hiki
>recently been wanting to lose weight and get my stamina up so I can just run for the sake of running.
Maybe I can learn some basic movement after getting Zig Forums

>mirrors edge, AC
POP is where it's at
>>at one point I just stopped, got fat, locked myself in and became a hiki
You could have gotten good while being a hiki.
>>recently been wanting to lose weight and get my stamina up so I can just run for the sake of running.
You are probably terribly out of shape, so you should start by losing excess weight safely and developing your body so your risk of injury goes down.
>Maybe I can learn some basic movement after getting Zig Forums
Whatever you can do safely and have fun is what works for you.

Oh yeah, I'm definitely out of shape, it'll take time before I could even run without busting my knees, I remember enjoying videos that's just movement designed to keep you from losing speed, instead of flips and stuff, I don't know if that was Parkour or Freerunning, don't remember the differences between the two.

>Mirror's Edge, full stop.
drop dead

>I remember enjoying videos that's just movement designed to keep you from losing speed, instead of flips and stuff,
Pretty much, Parkour is going as efficient, safe and fast as you can through many obstacles.
Freerunning is the flippy faggots that find one rock or wall and do backflips off it while recording it for their facebook.
Sadly most people don't even realize there is two paths to this sport and call everything parkour.

>portuguese
>that skin color

is 2 any good?

Aha, so thats the difference.

ME1 from the tutorial levels teaches you:
>Movement
>Fall roll
>Combat
After that you can do everything from the tutorial level, and be comfortable with it after the 5th level.
ME2 from the tutorial level teaches you:
>Limited Movement
>Skilltree with points that you earn through EXP to unlock the full range of movement you had by default in ME1
>Limited Combat
>Skilltree with points that you earn through EXP to unlock the full range of combat you had by default in ME1

It's essentially a worse ME1, and disabling all the hud options to get the ME1 feeling also isn't good, because of it's open world nature, you'll be opening the map planning your route every mission, instead of naturally running towards it like in the first, not to mention it misses all the environmental storytelling of the first, and it's clean artstyle is replaced with visual clutter eveywhere you go.

Yes, if people are using the words seriously. But most people just use the same either or name for both things.
But really, if you are practical and want to be actually traverse terrain then Parkour.
If you don't care about getting somewhere and are in it just for the style and feel the need to do flips, then Freerunning.

But even people who do parkour, often neglect running and get winded instantly from one obstacle area, actually running between them, and going through another set of obstacles, thats where it's trully at, in my opinion.
My own course lasted a good 15min or so.

dying light is shit tier compared to mirrors edge especially if you try to speedrun mirrors edge.

All of the story missions still take place in linear levels that are just as good as 1 (apart from the combat sections, though combat is mostly relegated to the open world shit). The best way to play the game is to just download a 100% save and replay the missions.

The open world is also neat if all you want to do is run around and create cool routes.

Assassin's Creed Unity
Titanfall 1 & 2
Spider-Man PS4

The first half of the game isn't great since half of your moves are locked behind a bullshit skill tree. But once get past that it's pretty fun to run around in the overworld and there's some cool things you get to do in the missions like riding giant windmills up a skyscraper. Overall, the first game is much better, but it's still a pretty good game especially since you can get it for like $5 now.

Ahem
>*tests mic*
Ah---hem

Excuse me boys
>*puffs the doint*
But a reskinned Dying Light to where zombies are blacks and leftists, and it takes place after all the riots have destroyed white society and you and white supremacists have to rebuild from the rubble, would legit be a great game

Carry on
