What the FUCK were they thinking?
>undodgeable combo that almost instakills you
>THREE magic attacks that are all physically impossible to dodge and also almost instakill you
This is why Dark Souls 3 is the superior game.
What the FUCK were they thinking?

summon sif the wolf and use Silver Pendant against dark magic. ds3 is b-team trash
>summon
Never, I still have some pride left so no summoning or shields. Just looked up the Pendant and that seems like exactly what I need. Why do they hide away an item that is necessary for the fight?
dodge roll to avoid the attacks.
Manus is the most "DS3 like" boss in DS1 though.
Manus is the only DS1 boss that forces me to summon (Sif), even though he's pretty useless he sometimes manages to distract him
exactly this, the problem is that you don't have ds3 mobility and you can't roll spam as much
when he sends the magic out in a circle you can just turn around and see it coming for you, so many people ive seen just face him the entire time and eat shit because of it
>"This boss is retarded because the devs are hacks!"
"Here's the strategy bro"
>"N-no that's cheating and some losers on the internet told me that's not the way the game is meant to be played!"
Ok bro
>This is why dark souls 3 is a better game
Cool another bait thread. I can't wait for tranny jannies to do their job. Oh wait.
Artorias felt pretty DS3-like too with how aggressive he was, but he felt like a much more enjoyable fight.
You can't dodge the combo. I use light armor but after dodging the first hit you simply don't have enough time to roll again and he will always catch you. The only way to avoid it is to run away but when you're too close to him you're done for. As for the magic attacks, the only one I've been able to dodge is the orbs that close in on you, the others not a SINGLE time, no evasive maneuver seems to work.
just run away when he starts screaming, that's the combo
my main problem with manus is that his design is a mess and you can hardly understand wtf is he doing with all that fur and shit
They should really remove summoning for bosses.
Makes worthless shitters think they're good.
You're just shit
summoning NPCs often makes bosses even more difficult since they have so much more HP. Except for ds2 where NPC summons are godlike
just roll backwards when manus does his autistic screeching and wait for him to be done. its an obvious tell.
>mfw trying to roll into Neckameet's neck
>when he sends the magic out in a circle you can just turn around and see it coming for you
But why? Just run up to him and the circle won't hit you.
manus was fine but the dlc dragon was a real bitch.
>el dragòn negro
I had a harder time with the fucking dragon before it
Haven't even fought the dragon yet. Is he harder than Manus? If so I'm getting absolutely filtered because I've already been on Manus for 2 hours now.
some say it's harder, some say it isn't. I feel more intimidated by Kalameet and he has a terrible NECK attack that is hard to dodge, but he's slower. I think he's more annoying than Manus
Even fatroll is viable against this master masturbator.
>summoning NPCs often makes bosses even more difficult since they have so much more HP.
Not with the shit Souls AI. Just take turns with the aggro: Deal enough damage to get the AI’s attention then backoff as your cooperator starts attacking and causing the same shit. Rinse and repeat, congrats you and your friend first-tried the cursed Bloodborne chalice.
Kalameet is only hard when you don't know the roll timing. After that he's a joke like all the other bosses but you will want to die if you choose to cut his tail without a phantom.
it depends on the game, summoning in DS3 isn't as viable as the previous games, I don't like it when bosses are damage sponges
what are the bosses immune to toxic? I want to see how much can you cheese the game with that
Did you play DeS? Because you could literally stand two feet from False King Allant, cast Poison Cloud, and sit there for 18 minutes as he slowly died.
killing kalameet was piss easy but yeah, cutting his tail solo was one of the most painful souls experiences for me, him being so easy made me being unable to get the tail that much more infuriating.
I beat him at SL1
>b-team
lets not pretend DS2 isn't the B-team game
no but I just did that with Old Demon King in ds3 and it was pretty funny
If it's a fun mechanic, chances are it's useless.
Slit your throat then faggot, you're clearly here to troll and attention whore.
Fuck (you).
It's easy

Manus is still a lot easier than O&S.
>"Here's the strategy bro"
sumon isn't a strategy you retard, it's easy mode
nah with a decent weapon you can BONK the shit out of O&S, Manus is sturdy
