Everytime I take a shit with the window open i hear my neighbor close theirs

See somehow every gun in the galaxy got replaced with new tech that needs a fancier cooling system.

Not true though as it isn't even stated anywhere and not every enemy uses the thermal clip reload animation.

They still use the same exact guns. And drop AMMO on death.

Why is that?

>add limited ammo but keep enemies just as spongy
>remove half the abilities and character building because RPGs dont sell anymore and it needs to be more like Gears of Bore
>Global Cooldowns because fuck you no fun allowed
>still the same garbage level design from the original
>removed most of the variety content the original had because normalfags complained and replaced it with nothing
I seriously dont get people who think ME2 improved the gameplay

>thermal clip
>clip

What do gun models have to do with anything? In Mass Effect 1 everything is the same copy pasted gun, in 2 they diversified it and not all enemies drop ammo on death. Imagine nitpicking something as ammo drops for gameplay purpose. Do you complain about Mass Effect 1's weapons spawns too where you can get a Avenger I out of the Soviet drone on the moon or non Prothean weapons on Ilos?

Sometimes I think cooling system In Battlefront 2 was a stroke of a genius. Bioware could've make something similar instead of thermal clips

How would Sheppard have known about thermal clips if he was dead for years?

>*THIS WEAPON DOESN'T HAVE A THERMAL CLIP*

Thermal Clip = Magazine

Eye implants.

It's not relayed to the player that way.

i need a bigger gun

>dump a point into a weapon talent for increased weapon damage per level
such engaging character building and RPG elements

Is this proof that Shepard in ME2 and 3 is just a clone with implanted fake memories? Pretty fucked up implications if you think about it.

Overheating weapons is something you actually have to keep in mind in real life. Barrels get deformed from the heat and since they require a tight seal and lots of pressure they lose accuracy as the barrel gets more malleable. Not like you retards actually cared about lore for this in the game.

How do you know and how does it work in your opinion? It actually fits because of the way Shepard pronounces it.

>Well you see, the old weapons were inferior, and prone to overheating, so Goldman Galactic came out with a new cooling system. It's really cheaper in the long run, you can buy these things in bulk....
>Shepard..? What's wrong?

im pretty sure user is nikpicking the lore and not the gameplay

>jackob dad is stranded for YEARS and he somehow has access to thermal clips

Ingame the guns chip of metal from a block and accelerate them via mass effect fields. If anything there shouldn't be any heat because there's no contact or propellant.

lmao wat

...but thats literally the story? ME1 Shepard was mince meat and they used what remained of his flesh. Did you not pay attention?

>femshep
Go fuck some krogan, you galactic slut

What? They say several times it's the original rebuilt. The other clone was for spare parts for things they couldn't regrow properly.

>NOOO MY UNLIMITED AMMO
>NOOO MY ABILITY SPAM
ME1 gameplay was clunky broken trash

um on the ship dummy

And lore doesn't state that everyone uses thermal clips. If you really complain about a gameplay choice that's there to give you a little help so you don't run out of ammo and randomized animations you have autism.

>accelerate them via mass effect fields
Which create heat. Nice retard lore btw.
>geth use thermal clips
>wahhhhh but one person can't be explained in a video game so that means the lore is bad
>this isn't me over reacting because emotions = reality

Nope, they don't. At least it's not stated ingame from what I know. It would've made far more sense if we just replaced the metal block instead of having cool downs.

>it's not stated in game so my headcanon has to be lore
>I know what does and doesn't create heat because I'm a smart science man
Okay dog. Notice how I talked about real life and you guys talk about bullshit head lore.

They say in ME2 that they brought him back from the Dead "exactly how he was" and they specifically say he is not a clone. Pretty sure they were lying though as they did exactly what I said with a Shepard clone for an ME3 DLC.

>chipping off metal from a huge block of it for prolonged peruods of time doesn't generate heat
A woman's hands typed this.

Truth is mass effect always sucked

Show me a source where it says Mass Effect field create heat.

>Could have it set up that you could either wait for the heat to die down or eject a thermal clip to get back in the fight faster.
>Some reason the galaxy just ditched the first option in 2 years.
Nani?

The thermal clips retard. Why have thermal clips if it doesn't create heat. Where is your proof that it doesn't produce heat? Your asshole?

I was talking about Mass Effect field but you're right, didn't think of that.

My guess is this was the original plan but playtesters were so retarded they got confused by the system so they ditched it for conventional ammo.

>i forgot about friction because I let my emotions decide reality
>I forgot that guns are small so all electronics in a gun have no internal heat vents

That makes the most sense, thank you for your time.

thats a common thing you can melt your gun in 1 minute
youtube.com/watch?v=EwSJiAwoMpY

Because mass effect fields aren't only used in guns you dumbass nigger. It's used for shields and those also don't create any heat. You didn't even show me any source, how should I show you one if there isn't anything about mass effect field creating heat you breaindead moron.

>playtesters
the guys who kept get lost in the antlion's den ?

Honestly the worst part is the movement that somehow got clunkier. ME2 feels like you're playing a turret simulator unless you're a vanguard. Even on insanity I can move through ME1 pretty fluidly with careful use of powers and grenades.

Which is ironic if they were wanting the Gears audience since that has active reload

>but my shield is made by a mass effect field chipping metal and accelerating it
How retarded exactly?
