Why hasn't PS Now taken off? In terms of the games you can download I think it's got a library just as good as Game Pass. Is it lack of advertising? Lack of offers?

The biggest problem is that you cannot download PS3 titles, they have to be streamed which sucks if your internet is hot garbage.

Quality is shit. At least its worth it on ps4 if you don't wanna buy the newest AAA exclusive but no one knows that you can download the games. They should add more ps3 games or port them. Stuff like JoJo, Folklore or 3d Dot Heroes would be much better than white knight chronicle.

library nowhere near as good as game pass, and the "new" games come too late and go too early (you can play a 2017 game FOR THREE MONTHS and then it's gone). Many of the games end up coming to psplus anyways.

It's still worth it on sale or to get a month every once in a while but it's not essential.

Gamepass can be bundled with Xbox gold, and you can get it for 1$. Also it works on pc

input lag and lack of good games. instead of porting games to PC sony got lazy and thinks that streaming is fun when its not.

they cater to the lootbox addicted crowd which is just mainstream games. Surprisingly they don't buy a lot of games. They don't have a large loyal fan base willing to buy their game only shills who spout bullshit. Quite funny how Nintendo can make a lot more profit with low budget games which are easy enough to copy if one would adhere to the same sense of quality Nintendo has.
Just look at their idea on how to push for their online subscription. They released a new tetris game albeit being very simple it was simply fun and pulled in enough casuals. If MS or Sony were to try that they would 90% of the time make some kind of AA shooter game just like Drawn to death or Bleeding edge.
