What went so right?
What went so right?
no origin cancer
Same thing as Sonic Mania, created partly by cool autists who actually love the game.
Better tell me why I keep hearing whinings about RA2 and TS when they never ever said anything about remastering those.
>it's a user gets btfo by grenadiers episode
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Its pretty fucking good, granted I did get this expecting to be disappointed by outdated shit but game is really fun and whole premise is interesting to me, 8/10
Because those cucks need to find some arguments in their echo chambers how bad the remaster is. Even if this time, ea did everything right.
>game boots straight from steam
bliss lads
It’s a good game. That’s what went right.
>tfw 4 years too zoomer
GIVE ME RED ALERT 2 AND YURIS REVENGE YOU CUNTS, BOOMERS HAVE HAD THEIR NOSTALGIA NOW GIVE ME MINE REEEE
because people want them remastered, wtf do you think?
BLIZZARD BTFO
Everything.
It's fucking perfect.
No, there are a couple of bugs. It's a 9/10 though
All remasters should be like this.
Zero Hour remaster fucking when
Haven't seen them yet.
My only complaint, being -very- autistic about nitpicking, is that the game takes surprisingly long to launch. Once in game all loading time are short but it's a full minute to reach the main menu. Are they loading the whole game in ram or what?
>"Remastered"
>Not completely remake of graphics using RED ALERT 3 engine while keeping the rest identical
It could have been better
>Inb4 soulless
Fuck off
>literally 4 versions of the exact same mission
y tho
>graphics using RED ALERT 3 engine
SOULLESS
Different maps, just like the original.
>Music is pure unfiltered kino
this man is above us
i want generals now
Yeah but like in design terms, why dedicate development time to producing 4 different maps for one mission?
>No rally points
>No attack move
It's shit
/vg/ was created specifically to contain subhumans like you.
The listened to the fans for once
>buy game
>install game
>launch game
>STEAM NOT DETECTED
>crashes
>double check steam library
>there it is
>launch game
>STEAM NOT DETECTED
>restart steam in admin mode
>repeat
>STEAM NOT DETECTED
>uninstall
>refund
>download Codex crack
>reinstall
>launch game
>play game
It's pretty good.
>EA does a better job remaking a 25 year old RTS in a series they raped from a studio they destroyed than Blizzard does at remaking their own RTS that spun-off into one of the biggest cashcow games of all time
What a strange timeline.
Cannot fucking wait to see how this game looks after a remaster, or just play it again with nice QOL improvements
There is one on /vg/
It's pretty fucking awesome
hmmm a lot of the songs sound better the way they were already, even in the poor sample and bit rate
Funny joke. He means Generals.
>Generals and zero hour
I loved those games too but we are never getting a remaster that isn't the german version or cucked in some other way.
>he doesn't like new shoes
okay okay, it hurts
I want generals zoomers to leave
I hope they don't ruin the atmosphere. I would be an incredibly easy thing to fuck up
The fucking game takes up like 40% of my cpu and 30% of my gpu. shit lags down to 2 fps anytime something blows up and randomly drops every couple of seconds. I dont understand why a 25 year old game takes up more resources than the new call of shitty duty. fuck lemonsky and fuck ea. i should be able to play a fucking 25 year old game with a new coat of paint.
6 months ago I would have looked at reforged and said "they'll definitely fuck it up". Today I look at the C&C remaster and I know this atmosphere is in safe hands. 2020 is fucking mental
they're the biggest blight of those missions without a base
>c&c thread
>isn't aware of generals
kek zoomers
They're cancer even when you're controlling them
I'm playing on a mid range 2011 PC with windows 7 and the game runs perfect
I can't imagine what kind of a potato you're running the game on
>normal
fucking trash player
As someone whose first ever PC game was Tiberian Dawn in 1995 I cannot overstate how amazing this remaster is - especially given the track record of EA and remasters in general. I still kind of can't believe that this came out of EA (granted, with some original devs on board), but fuck do I wish that this sets a precedent for all remasters to come. The "installation" alone made me feel all warm and fuzzy.
How's the multiplayer?
Games too hard.
The original C&C games didn't have any atmosphere to ruin. TS is the only game in the series (and one of the only RTS games) to have an atmosphere, and a very good one at that
>current year
Umm sweaty how about no?
Generals absolutely is one, if not the, best C&Cs. Granted, it's not C&C at all, but the balance was just perfect. I do hope it gets remastered, too.
Are there any 100% positively reviewed games that have more than a handful of reviews?
What about 100% negative?
Lmao, take your pills
They even made the installers kino bro, it'll be fine
The only thing you need to get a good remaster/remake is passionate staff that grew up playing the original. When that happens, you get a really good product.
Can't blame them.Generals isn't C&C
WAIT HAND OF NOD
AND THEY ARE HANDS
I JUST GOT THIS
gtx 2080 ti, 16gb of ram, the shittiest part i have in here is the mobo and processor which is a i7-3770, but it should be able to run this fucking game. i dont understand why it wont fucking run. the fucking original install of tiberium dawn and red alert works better than this fucking shit
