It completely wasted the idea of a dream world in Luigi's head. You could have cut out Pi'llo Island entirely and just had the whole game take place in a Luigiscape. Also Starlow was cool in BIS because her relationship with Bowser was interesting, when she's that sassy to everybody and mean to Luigi she just became unlikable. That aside it's okay.

bowser's moves feel a lot less intuitive and the battles are not as fun as a result. Wario's games have good gameplay, it has nothing to do with your raging hard-on for villains.

i liked it, though the long tutorials are a bit of a drag (and the tilting in the giant battles, mainly zeekeeper are a bit wonky).

One of the biggest flaws in this game that I don't think I really would've expected is every single goddamn time you do something the villain has either already beaten you to the punch or shows up to cuck the shit out of you. It constantly feels like you're getting fucked in the ass, so much so that it actually made me say fuck this, the dream world deserves it, I'm out.

Before the Dream Bed quest? No, it's practically the best M&L. Dream Bed Quest onwards? Yes, it's garbage. Even Dreamy Bowser doesn't salvage the nosedive. Dream Team is a half-done game

the game takes a nosedive so bad that all you find are recycled mooks for encounters and actual common enemies as bosses. The fact there is a Lakitu boss fight is pathetic

This plus bizarrely the plot gets put on hold for the last 8-12 hours before the final dungeon. nothing actually progresses while you're finding the Ultibed pieces.
