DQ VIII was my 1st DQ game and I like it. After that I played every other, except for that online game, and realised - I just don't like post-VI titles (exc for VIII) because they are unnecessary long.
Finished and liked: I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VIII
Didn't finish and strongly dislike: VII, IX, XI
III and V are personal fav.
