i liked it a lot more than #2 and infinity more than #3.

Low-grav made the game feel even slower than normal.

How could any Borderlands fan like any Borderlands more than 3? The story in 3 is amazing, finally a real villain, you have amazing guest stars like Pen Gilette and ICE-t, You meet the gun manufacturers in the flesh, you get to raid not one vault but many, and in the end is the most emotional tear jerkers I've experienced in any vidya so far.

It's just more Borderlands 2 but with moon gravity, a barren world map, barely half the content of its predecessor, and Australians.

all i want to do is try out each of the characters main fucking ability before dealing with all of that scripted shit but i have to sit through a half dozen 30 minuite tutorials before i could possibly understand what character i'd like to fucking play while ignoring all of that scripted god damned fucking diarrhea

Other than being burnt out of the gameplay why do people prefer 2 to 3? 3's gameplay is a straight upgrade and who ever gave a shit about Borderlands' story

the game was okay, but it fell pretty far behind BL2. not enough that you could just write it off as shit, which actually made it worse. I spent dozens of hours trying to get into it, trying to love the characters, trying to eke some usefulness out of the stupid laser weapons. in the end, it was just mediocre. I hate it because it wasted my time.

also, prequel stories are garbage. every last one of them. if any of that shit was vital or interesting to the actual story, the story would have started there.

Because borderlands needs story. It’s part of the charm, the weapons, and the characters. The entire singleplayer suffers because of this and it’s largely the singleplayer that lets you remember maps and battles. Otherwise who gives a shit; just play a different loot-shoot.
