I don't get her route. Can someone explain? I got the good ending completely blind, but looked at her blind ending. How the fuck does caring about her mean she breaks up? Why was she so on edge?
Actual autism on my part for not getting the emotions. And I still don't. Please explain.
There is no good ending with her. I did her route first and as soon as she flips out with you having a casual conversation with her mom, I wanted to get done with this sex-crazed bitch's route as soon as possible.

Exactly how I felt, are the other routes better or do I just drop the game?

I wish someone would erp Shizune for me.
Jeremiah Garcia
[No.]
Daniel Garcia
Imagine how Shizune must sound like in bed?
Robert Hernandez
I don't remember her bad ending The point of her good ending from what I remember is a fleeting highschool romance and living every day like it's your last
Brandon Hughes
Yeah, I know, but it doesn't hurt to ask.
I like to, at least.
Jordan Green
All of the routes are different. Hanako and Lilly were what I was expecting out of a VN and pretty good, Shizune's route was shit despite having the best girls because the writer wanted to write Rin's route, and Rin's route wasn't bad, but weird.
She has commitment issues because her dad died or something. Haven't played KS since the year it came out.
Samuel Moore
>play You mean read. And go back to /vg/. You have such a huge following there
Henry Barnes
>How the fuck does caring about her mean she breaks up? Why was she so on edge? Hisao ends up pushing a subject she doesn't want to speak about rather than giving her the time to naturally speak about it. Her father's death also hit her incredibly hard and she feels pain bringing a man into her life after that.
>a fleeting highschool romance Emi's is the strongest out of all the romances though. She's constantly on Hisao's case and she's the only one who actually cares about his health and future to actually have him, you know, survive longer than his 30s. Shizune is arguably the only other one who makes any effort in the same respect. Lilly and Hanako are just a relationship where the former only truly starts caring at the end of her route because he nearly died chasing after her and in the latter Hisao is barely doing anything for his health. Rin is the truly fleeting highschool romance, they're both polar opposites who don't seem to understand each other and Rin is such a free spirit whose life is basically in the wind afraid of commitment and who can't handle the stress that being an artist brings. Rin also always lounges around and that passes onto Hisao as well.
Dominic Gonzalez
Returning user here. All the other routes are better or at least more bearable than Emi's. Rin's is my favorite, but it has a niche taste to it. Hanako starts off generic, but ends up being endearing. Lilly is campy throughout the whole thing, felt more like reading a chick flick though. Shizune is kind of boring, but has the least drama aside from a certain scene involving Mishia.
Christopher Bailey
what I mean is that every other route ends with the "we'll be together forever" thing, Legs' route is the only one that makes it explicitly clear they're together only till highschool ends but that shouldn't make the time they have together any less sweet
William Nelson
>She's constantly on Hisao's case and she's the only one who actually cares about his health and future to actually have him, I mean it starts out that way, which is why people usually do her route 1st or 2nd, but then it starts to be about more of her problems while Hisao becomes her fuck buddy to help her cope with said problems and in return Hisao constantly won't stop asking her about what problems she has. Neither of them of them are bad for their faults since they're teenagers going through the steps of life, but they're easily the least compatible characters for each other.
Thomas Jackson
>Legs' route is the only one that makes it explicitly clear they're together only till highschool ends What? No it didn't. The route is about Emi coming to terms with having a real relationship with someone and finally getting over her father's death to make a new life with someone else. It literally ends on Hisao being happy to have Emi in his life and anything that comes in the future he can do because he has her with him while on her side she's happy to stop pushing people away because he constantly kept up with her distancing methods.
How in the world did you see this as being a highschool-only romance? If anything their relationship is as strong as ending Lilly's is.
>but they're easily the least compatible characters for each other. How in the world do you get to that conclusion? They started out like that, yes, but by Act 4 they're easily the strongest pairing barring ending Lilly (Not anything before that) and Act 4 Hanako.
Landon Parker
Who cares? Emi gave the best fap material.
Shizune's route is a close second because of the chair scene. Could have been #1 if Misha had drills when fucked.
bruh I last played it when it first came out, back when I was fat and still browsed memecenter It was actually what introduced me to Zig Forums I can barely remember it, even the music escapes me
>How in the world do you get to that conclusion? Hisao wants a chill and more reserved relationship while Emi enjoys her bond to be more lively and enigmatic. Retracting my statement and thinking back to the routes, I guess she is a better fit than Rin and definitely Shizune, but Hanako and Lilly are much better pairings.
She's insecure about her handicap and has issues talking about the accident. If you push to hard to get details on it it makes her feel like you think she's weak and needs protecting. Its a pride thing.
Kayden Hall
You fuck a legless girl in the ass. What's there not to get?
Matthew Martin
>Hisao wants a chill and more reserved relationship while Emi enjoys her bond to be more lively and enigmatic. But he himself states during the entire Emi discussion about her issues that he wanted to be there for her and be someone she can open up to which is why he kept up with her and was the one who was able to match her. He's happy running with her, that's literally something he himself states and openly admits that because of her he feels healthy again. Emi herself states she doesn't want to lose Hisao. I can't understand where this thought is coming from, literally everything about Acts 3 and 4 specifically are showing you they work perfectly with each other and are supportive of each other emotionally and physically. They lay all their cards out to each other and both are in it for the long haul.
Lilly only becomes a good pairing for him in the ending and even there I'd argue she's not the best for him because she was basically about to leave him until he nearly had a heart attack and their relationship barely went anywhere at all during her acts. She acted like an upset mother with him rather than an equal partner. Hanako is an actual good pairing equal to Emi with the downside of not harping on Hisao to stay healthy like Emi did meaning he's going to die way earlier because of his condition. She lays her cards out on the table for him, she opens up to him, she cares about him, he especially cares for her and understands not to treat her differently because of her burns, and they both end up with a very happy outlook for their future.
b-but one of the writers made a post on the forum, and everyone knows that writers making posts on forums carries equal canonical weight to the actual text of the media in question! fuck that was physically painful to type
>and she's the only one who actually cares about his health and future to actually have him Years later and this is still one of the big reasons I put Emi as my favorite route.
Adrian Price
Why the fuck does being scarred means you're a cripple? It's not nearly on the same level as losing your arms or something. It's like saying that Volgin is a cripple. I don't get it.
Yeah I remember, it was my first VN and nothing else compares
Aiden Torres
>It's like saying that Volgin is a cripple. Well Volgin was mentally retarded so the burns wouldn't be the reason he has to enroll in the academy.
Juan Garcia
My dad had just been diagnosed with cancer and for whatever reason that made the game hit way harder than it should have. Rin's route really made me depressed in a "time marches on" way. I liked Lily's a lot.
Liam Ortiz
It was more the emotional state losing her family and being bullied constantly left her in. She didn't NEED to be there, but they thought it would be a healthier environment for her to go to school in.
