Part 2 will fix everything with it's super fast solid state drive.

A shame PCs will never be able to handle it.

imagine the sheer power of the ps5

It looks like the original skyboxes, why did the purists complain again?

>the game's files were craked
>it was revealed that the PS4 couldn't handle Unreal Engine on this scale
>better assets exist in the game's files

That's a big skybox

for who

you realize ssds have already evolved past the ps5s ssd. google M.2 SSD

Had a guy saying that wall climb was one of his favorite parts of the game. These shills aren't even trying anymore.

why don't console devs allow for an addon that allows the console for extra improvement to avoid this? If may seem scummy but at least opens up a chance for keeping the console from falling behind against PCs by a great distance

and yet the PC is still behind.

The gig is up PCpesant race

And it shows

They are very sensitive to BOM cost for each unit. Not to mention they would rather you buy a new console

Is there really that much of a difference from regular SSDs?

Imagine letting some slight blurriness to the backgrounds that 99% of people won't even notice are skyboxes ruin a great experience.

Autism must truly be suffering.

will have to run on xbone

This is true. I work at Google and we're getting ready to change out our server rows with racks housing nothing but PS5's.

>Had a guy saying that wall climb was one of his favorite parts of the game.
Maybe i was. It was one of favorite parts of the game because it was intense, with a nice sunset, incredible music, and valkyrie was a fun fight using its satelite beam to hit him
>BUUUUUUUT MUUUUUUUUUHHHHH BACKGROUUUUUUUUUUUUUUND

yeah let's not mention how boring the climb is and the awful boss that makes the auto-jump attacks look beyond retarded

>implying the chapters where they climb from the very bottom of the Midgar sewers to the very top of the Shinra building isn't pure fucking kino
b-b-but the backgrounds!!!

So this is the power of superior bugmen engineering?

2 SATA SSDs have a similar level of performance to mSATA cards, but M. 2 PCIe cards notably faster. In addition, SATA SSDs have a maximum speed of 600 MB per second, while M. 2 PCIe cards can hit 4 GB per second

The boss is pretty lame, yeah. The satellite thing is dumb when the fight is designed using it to get him down instead of your own methods.

Looks like the background on the WB logo at the beginning of a movie

It's a throwback to the original.

holy moly

Same, except we are doing this at NASA.

Literally does not make a difference in normal PC usage. Nothing takes advantage of it on a consumer gaming PC.

Maybe when UE5 comes out, but until then you're fine with a normal SSD.

The graphics are good, the texture is like that because they’re beta testing it on the PS4, which can’t handle jackshit.
Once the real version is released on the PC, these issues will be gone.

Backgrounds look like shit, but yea, it was my favourite part of the game. It was reminiscent of twilight sniping in MGS2

as a PC user, write speed is important for a lot of things - but these are categorized as "gaming SSDs" by Samsung.

Watching the credits to it now and I'm not sure how to feel. Overall enjoyed. Nomura clearly hasn't gotten Kingdom Hearts out of his system and is going all out with Remake.

...

It is important. I was an early adopter of SSDs (I had them when they were $200+ for an 80GB one) and would always recommend an SSD.

As someone who now owns an M.2 PCIe 1TB SSD, I can say with absolute confidence that no average computer user needs one as nothing an average computer user does will ever take advantage of it. Most game engines still cap out at 400-500MB/s read speed.

It will be a necessity in a year or so when we start getting PS5 ports, but until then (and for any average use-case) they are essentially no better than your standard SSD.

I word what I'm saying intentionally because I know there are some applications that do take advantage of it, but nothing your average gamer would use or benefit from significantly.

With that said, you'd also be absolutely retarded not to buy an M.2 SSD at this point if you were building a computer.
