Banjo in Smash Bros Ultimate

My only gripe with them is that Kazooie got jerked off too hard, all of Tooie's eggs should have been in and they didn't even put it one Tooie world track, just a few boss themes.

I wish they had new voice clips and their moveset could have been just a bit better and the stage is kinda bland, style wise (looks like they just used generic assets they also used for k tools final smash)
but overall what we got with him was pretty good.

Banjo is like the perfect Melee/Brawl character and it just took way too long to add him.

I dont get why people hate his moveset when it basically is how he would play. Mario with a few more options indicative of his era.

Honestly I'd give DLC a 7/10. Banjo and Terry make the pass worth getting and the classic DQ characters are a nice bonus just for that legendary status. The rest are just zoomer anime twinkshit that does not appeal to me. I have pretty high hopes for the second pass even if we're off to a pretty weak start.

the one thing I kinda hate is when these trailers prematurely give it away before the splash screen. like the jiggy bouncing, the kof 94 intro, or even Samus walking in Ridley's trailer.

The only two characters i ever wanted in smash were K Rool and Banjo, and they both got in. This is a dream for me, everything after those two are purely extra

Banjo's moveset in general lets him down and feels kinda weak. It's like they wanted him to be perfectly balanced in all respects, but as a result he does nothing well. Just look at his specials:

>neutral B is a pea shooter that does almost nothing
>down B is a blatantly worse version of Snake's neutral B
>side B, the only really good move, is limited in use despite not being much stronger than the shit Joker and Terry can do for free

Here you can call this one something like need cheering up or a friend to lean on or something like that

The only thing to make him really stand out then is let you fire multiple egg types from kazooie with different downsides or ammo counts maybe
