Should I play these?

Should I play these?

Yes, first two are great.

Only the first one. The second one is great, but it will make you want to play the third one and that will retroactively ruin the entire series for you.

They are pretty good, story is pants on head retarded don't take it too seriously.

Yes. I'm a bitch and did a no spoiler path guide for the true ending to 999 and the experience was amazing.

this

I got the coffin ending by luck on my second playthrough, then I used a guide to get to the true ending. It really is a solid game. I was surprised by how dark it got, but the puzzles were all excellent.

play all three, just keeping in mind that three is a tire fire that you cant look away from.

Play them right now it's a miracle you haven't been spoiled already

yes the games are great

Y E S ! Y E S !

they are fantastic VNs and puzzle games. I didn't play ZTD so I can't say much on that one.

I miss those zero time dilemma threads, even if the game was irredeemmable trash

Dont play the third one.

Yes, play the first and second. Just never play the third, a game so bad it will send you into the 5 stages of grief. The second is better than the first so despite it never getting the finale it deserves you should still play the second.

1's great. 2's good. 3 sucks. 1 works well enough to be standalone so I honestly think that's all you need.

4D ayylien printer was wtf, but I still enjoy everyone going nuclear, and love Sugita voicing Carlos being such an nice guy

Nothing made me quite so depressed from shock and anger quite like the third game. An experience I'll never forget. Fucking snails

Just play the first one.

Don't listen tot eh hipsters who say the third game is bad. They're buttmad their headcanon never became real.

I know in the first game to get the true ending you have to go down one specific path, and then the true ending is another specific path after you've done the other one. Is the second game like this at all? I don't want to be spoiled, I just want to know the method.

Shit has like, a system so you can go back and fort is wacky.

yes, but make sure to play the DS version of 999

This is essential

I remember playing the first one like a year ago after completing Ever17.
What hooked me the most were the puzzles, but in terms of story and characters I wasn't getting into it, not to say it was bad but it all became boring after a while (for me) I was going through it mostly to reach the cool puzzles. Should I play the second one if I felt that way about the first?

Yeah you can jump between chapter nodes like 999

Sounds a lot like Danganronpa
I'm noticing a pattern with these games

>Should I play the second one if I felt that way about the first?

No, you sound retarded.

Yeah but I mean, are there certain endings I have to get before the true ending is unlocked?

Now that the pic has gotten your attentions...

Assuming I have played both trilogies of Danganronpa and the Nonary Games (the third game in both was pretty... okay)...

What do I play now? Help me, please. I beg of you. I need more.

I see some fags on here shill some game called 400 something Shibuya. Don't remember the name and I'm not gonna bother looking it up. It has a demo though.

Ghost Trick is a fantastic game that occupies the same kind of niche.
Phoenix Wright is also pretty similar to DR. It's more lighthearted though.
I haven't played it yet, but Hotel Dusk is usually mentioned alongside everything else here.

The game is 428 Shibuya Scramble. It has some pretty entertaining writing and takes around 20 hours to go through. But its more of a visual novel with some light path-choosing elements. Its also pretty expensive so its best to get on a sale
