It's alright, it's TNC that dropped the ball hard
New Order and Old Blood were great, the more recent ones have just dogshit story telling and writing.
I actually really liked the gameplay in TNC, but like this user said the story was indeed shit.
The whole game was short as fuck too
You're mixing it up with the sequel. Which was dogshit.
Kino game with a shitty follow up
TNC is better
TNO was great for the most part, the sequel was disappointing and youngbloods was pure shit
TNC has more satisfying gunplay but wtf is that tone deaf ending song screamo Twisted Sisters?
It's impossible to have a Zig Forums thread on TNC without the crossboarder election tourists barging in and whining about politics, but the real problem with TNC is that it feels like the devs just didn't really want to make it.
>TNO ends with BJ fucking killing himself and TNC scrambling to somehow build off of that feels like an utter hackjob
>a lot of the utterly inspired art/enemy design that TNO has just kind of blends together in TNC (also whoever decided that the best way to implement the panzerhund was to turn it into a slow tank unit that only attacks using a flamethrower is just the worst)
>The pacing is just straight up crippled after BJ gets the new body and the rest of the game is spent largely revisiting old areas
new order doesn't hold up, mostly because it's locked to 60fps and unlocking breaks the game in a lot of areas
mogged by DOOM
Like I understand that the original panzerhund was kinda janky and easy to cheese being a huge-melee only enemy, you couldn't keep relegating it to arenas where BJ can't take cover, but I'd rather just not have the thing than see it turned into such a boring thing.
I use id5tweaker to lock it to 120 fps. There is only 2 parts the game screws up and all you have to do is re-lock it to 60, then restart the checkpoint and lock it back to whatever fps you want.
nuDoom is also good but I enjoyed nuWolf more.
This is correct. TNC was a slog.
it was still super unstable and clearly not designed to work with higher frame rates, either way i would rather be playing doom over it
it's great.
Zig Forums is filled with nazi soiboys
nuPrey is top kino
It's good, but the sequel was god-awful and it's been all downhill since then
Best Wolfenstein game since "Return to Castle Wolfenstein".
"New Colossus" has some good moments, but it gameplay-wise it's more clunky.
"Youngblood" is extremely bad.
I liked, but it had too many spongy enemies, and not enough cannon fodder
I guess I'm the only one who thought TNC is the best FPS I've ever played.
it’s okay at best some level designs early on where good but it gets stale midway i’d give it a 5/10
Can you explain why though? The level design and art direction are both a massive step backwards from TNO.
Most of the levels are just indistinct corridors broken up with cinematic gameplay moments to carry the bad and ridiculous story.
I'd say the gunplay is about all it has going for it, but when compared against TNO it's objectively worse in almost every way.

Both games 8.99€ in GOG.
Shit compared to RtCW. 100%ed both this and Old Blood in the span of 3 days or so. It's way too easy and the kike propaganda (especially in New Order) is obnoxious. Overall - it sucks. If I have to rank the ones I've played it goes like this:
1. RtCW
2. 3D/Spear of Destiny (tho fuck those secrets and moving blocks, hate them so much
3. Old Blood
4. New Order
Haven't played 2009 yet... and New Colossus and Youngblood look like even more kike propaganda and shit gameplay
For how long?
Go check it yourself, nog.

It's not terrible, but it's not great. At the time it was released, it was a damn revelation, partially thanks to the surprisingly decent narrative, and partially because that was still the era of CoD clones, two years before Doom 2016. It arguably launched renewed interest in non-cover-based and more fast-paced shooters again.
But gameplay-wise, it's still kinda stuck in the inbetween era, and a lot of it is actually really bland from todays perspective.
