it really does suck how some spells had to be practically butchered so they balance out in pvp and then get left absolutely useless in pve.

Although PVE is easy as shit as any sort of magic build. I's never difficult to stay away and cast magic at a boss. Only the 4 Kings and the Crystal Sage ever posed a challenge when i was doing pure magic builds.

It's hard to say exactly. From knows what makes a good game better than I do. Given Elden Ring is open world, some sort of mount system would be cool. If there was good horse combat like jousting that would be pretty cool. This also seems like a natural time to revamp the npc interaction system, I don't feel super strongly about this, but something more engaging that "press x to start conversation" might be interesting.

Personally I want to see a proper poise system. When poise is good it feels manly af to land hits while tanking other hits but outside of 1 (where it was too good) poise is practically PvP exclusive
