It really is. Carriers are fun as fuck. I also play battleships, but the grind doesn't allow me to move up the tech tree too far.

War Thunder naval must be really bad.

its beyond bad. gaijin needs to revamp the tech tree progression and buff the XP wields to make the gamemode durable to play with. the CBT was extremely fun with the first iteration of CL's and not having to grind for jackshit and just play and report in the fourms.

War Thunders grind got fucking unbearable when they switched from the old level system to the new tier system.
It used to be that each nation had 20 levels and once you reached a level you unlocked all planes on that level now and in the future. You still had to buy them but at least you didn't have the long and fucking arduous task of researching every single individual plane and its variants.

the tanks is fine in WTR. but i have no patience with the grind.

Too bad she's pretty awful these days. WG lobbing her into the "big cruiser" group and giving her all the nerfs intended to keep Stalingrad and Alaska at bay really hurt the ship. Not allowing her guns to land AP pens on DDs any more wasn't exactly a buff either. I think they also nerfed her armor profile with the recent cruiser armor rework.
