How the fuck hasn't this game been re-released in proper HD? It's literally the most acclaimed game of all time and the definitive version is still stuck on the 3DS. Does Shiggy think it's too sacred to port?

Only an autist or somebody extremely bored believes that this adds to the experience. It's a fucking thing behind a window that you're only supposed to see when exploring. It's not supposed to instill any other reaction than "Huh, neat". Genuine question: Do you have anything going on in your life?
The framerate is enough reason to not play the N64 version, it goes below 20 fps at times, its fucking painful. I dont like how the 3ds version ruins the atmosphere in some cutscenes and dungeons tho.
The gyro aiming is a welcome addition too

The only bad thing OoT 3ds had was the lighting in the final battle, it was better when everything was darker and you could only see ganon when thunder struck.

Playing OoT3D in 3D is the absolute best way to play
Otherwise playing on parallel with a CRT shader at full speed is the next best way
