Most of these ideas are a lot older than you think. It's just the degree of acceptance by the mainstream that has changed. While it's not likely a historical character would share the same views as a modern progressive it's far from being utterly ridiculous.

I love how it's nearly impossible to tell what game this is due to generic minimalist style UI (which too many games have) and generic realistic graphics. Only reason I know what game this is is because I can just barely make out the jacket of the player character.
