I want to afford a pc so I can play my games, but I can't get a job and I don't have money

Disgusting.

>clean the insides of my pc, especially the ventilators
>turn pc on
>one ventilator turns into complete overdrive for some reason
>really loud noise
>it's not the cpu-cooler at least
>stops with the noise after ten minutes
Almost had a heart attack.

Pentium II 450MHz

Why is that parallel cord twisted?

Use your 1.2k TrumpBux if Ameriburger
Selling old stuff that's rare is always an option too if you're not attached to it. Found out the other day that an old /tg/ set of models I got for $70ish sell instantly for $600 which was a nice but weird surprise

You could always make a burner email, and enter a sweepstakes every day. Sure the chances are shit, but you only have to get lucky a single time which only increases with time

what's this, old PCs we have hiding in the back room?

Pentium 4
2 GB RAM
Gigabyte Geforce 6600 or something
SoundBlaster Audigy 2 (the best sound card)

So what exactly do I use to clean up my PC?

Is it okay to use those compressed air cans? I heard that you can cause damage internally or cause shit to short circuit if you use that. Is it true? If so, what do I use to clean the insides of my PC that I haven't cleaned in nearly 2 years?

Compressed air works, ideally from a little can advertising its use for cleaning electronics. For the love of God don't use an actual spray by mistake, Amazon kept trying to recommend me a WD40 spray last week for corrosion. Don't try to vacuum your case out or you'll just end up zapping your motherboard from all the static

Just watch around on Youtube to get an idea of just opening the side, holding the can upright normally and blasting dust out of the case and off fans etc, then sealing it back up. It cleans everything up, and the little dust that does get driven further into components usually isn't an issue in the normal lifespan of parts

Don't hold the can at any weird angles like upside down or worst case some propellant may shoot out onto whatever you were spraying. Touching the metallic inside of the computer case every now and then also keeps you from building up a charge that could fry the motherboard if you touch it

manage your cables holy shit

Thank you. I've seen a bunch of sites tell me I should use a mini-vacuum cleaner but that always sounded like utter bullshit.

no

hey

Just look at all the cables

Good luck!
If whatever reason it doesn't turn on after you give it a quick dusting, don't worry, it's probably a cable that got jiggled loose. Just touch the inside of the case, and start checking cables/connections

dust your fucking monitor

SOUL

that plumbing looks pretty nice and it's refreshing to see copper instead of shitty plastic tubes

I'm kinda surprised that board already has SATA ports alongside IDE.

>rear intake
>that cable management
Are the fans on your radiator acting as exhaust?

>Bloom inside the case

Disgusting.
10 years ago i used a big fucking ventilator and put it right beside the open PC case because the cooler stopped working. I played like that for at least 6 months.

Still more accurate than The Verge.
