Sounds like a PEBKAC type of issue.

if you changed to onboard memory it wouldn't let you rebind buttons
unless they changed that in an update and I didn't notice

Is there any other company that can provide similar wireless performance?
I don't have brand loyalty but it seems logitech is the only one with their wireless tech that actually makes wireless mice usuable in the last 2 years or so

size & weight (g pro is both larger and lighter), battery (g pro has built in rechargable battery, can use it while charging, g305 uses AA), swapping the side buttons, and $90 price difference. they aren't that much different
