I miss cute round face conan so much

>Number of episodes: 975
Holy fuck, is Conan still in kid form yet?

If every day was a different episode, that would be close to 2.5 years. He'd still be a kid

Heavy Rain

I woke up entirely too early once and watched an episode about a murder. The big reveal was that someones last message in like kanji or hiragana that they drew in blood had been written over in blood awhile later.
A small change to the character spelled out someone else's name but the blood dried in different colors giving away the true killers name.

ok

Detective Conan is the most boring detective anime/manga in my opinion because every time the murderer gets exposed they just say "Ya got me..." and pacefully let the cops take them away. They should at least try to run away or something.

Ghost trick

>It's a based Kaito Kid episode
You should be the popular manga classy bastard!

some of the Sherlock Holmes games are good
one of the latest ones with the thought map thing where you can actually come to the wrong conclusion had some decent cases
the Jack the Ripper one is a personal favorite of mine for the atmosphere, but its more linear
would kill for a actual good & deep detective game that doesnt boil down to linearity and minigames

Return of the Obra Dinn is possibly the best mystery game ever made. Your'e actually figuring who and how people on this ship got murdered, and since you only get feedback from the game if you're right or wrong when you get 3 right, that means you can't just force different possibilities into the menu. I managed about 3/4 before I had to take peeks at a walkthrough. with certain solutions seeming so obvious once I read.

Are the Professor Layton and Danganronpa games a good start to get into the mystery genre? So far I only played Ghost Trick and I'm going to try Touch Detective today. I'm also interested in Hotel Dusk and Shibuya Scramble. More recommendations are always welcome...

You're retarded.

Some of them did

>You're retarded
Nice argument fella

and those who did are part of the most interesting episodes

but many episodes span multiple days

This, Obra Dinn is the only murder mystery game where it feels like you're actually solving the mystery yourself and not just being handheld by NPCs and the limited number of choices you get presented.

Is Doyle's Sherlock Holmes really as good as Shin'ichi says?

Why all detective games are just simple point & click adventure games?

Layton is more about bullshit puzzles then solving a crime.

is the solution to that one put the corks in the dude's nose? Only thing I can think of since all three openings have garlic smell

This. It is a fun experience I feel but the gameplay just doesn't feel relevant except for a handful of puzzles.

Yes.

and the thread is dead
sorry I don't know any mystery games with lots of fanservice and politics to statisy Zig Forums

I think it fits the idea of being more 'intelectual' since if you're playing with one hand then you can use the other to rub your chin as you ponder the solution.

>This board is shit and I'm helping!
I had a couple of games thought up, but instead I'll talk about dead niggers.

In the interest of keeping the thread going, Raging Loop is a horror-mystery VN that I enjoyed for the most part. It's a game of Werewolf and there's even a route where you're the Werewolf.
Last quarter of the game is weak as fuck though. They info dump the remainder of things the player hasn't learned and half of it doesn't really make sense. The makers of the game clearly had more fun making it get out of hand.
The horror is good though. No cheap jumpscare bullshit but you feel unnerved most of the time.
It's got waifu-shit too if you want that. MC is cool as well.

Umineko. Would conan also be an anti-magic chad?

The ones with good characters that engage you in the mystery.
