The Demon's Souls soundtrack is actually dark and eerie and unsettling. I would like for them to remaster the music. But I hope the keep the same tone. Keep it light and creepy. Decidedly NOT epic.

Saying Demons souls is garbage when it started a trend of the some of the most iconic and well known (and respected) arpgs in vidya history. Whether DS1,2,3,BB, or Sekiro is your fav it is literally because of this game. Thank you Atlus for bringing it to the states. I could care less about persona and all the other shit they publish, but they will always get at least a bit of respect from me for taking the chance. If you didnt play DeS back when it dropped, if you didnt hang in classy Zig Forums threads, enjoying scraping spear and bramdt mfers in pvp, you missed out so much. DS fightclubs are 1/10 the amount of fun we had back then

Demon's Souls ost is pretty shit outside of a few tracks like the bad ending theme or the nexus, the contrarians here have convinced themselves that it's the best thing ever though

It sets the tone it needs to set for the world. Sure, it can be improved upon. But I would rather have a stylistically appropriate mediocre soundtrack than a highly produced generic soundtrack.(See Dark Souls 3)

Dark Souls is just a sequel to Demon's Souls.

It's more like people can actually appreciate the music for being unique while also sounding good. It isn't like Dark Souls 3's overtly bombastic dogshit kitamura music where everything soudns the same with the same violins, chanting, drums, piano tunes, and bells going off in the background randomly at the same time. The best song on the DS3 OST is actually a song that sounds more like a Demon's Souls song and it wasn't even made by the primary composer.
