Here's a 1tb SSD that's faster than the one in PS5 for $130, and that's obviously with Samsung making a healthy profit. I think people would've been happier with a slower 1tb than what they're offering now, but that's just me.

Did you not watch Linus’s video? Games will be much lower file sizes since there doesn’t need to be repeated models in different sections of the file since the SSD can call back models from wherever with no delay.

Ok, the PS5 needs the SUPER ULTRA SPECIAL CUSTOM SSD to run its games, why not just have it so that you can pick games you're currently playing and the other games go in the cold storage, which could just be a regular old-school disc-drive; because the PS5 will never directly play games from it anyway, it'll just fetch them and put them on the SDD when you want to play them.
Wouldn't this be relatively easy to do?

PS4 games can be kept on external hardrives. Leaving you room for the PS5 games on the actual 850 Gbs for PS5 games.
