Hollow Knight.

no idea
as in a new game or an old game i went back to?
the former would be... literally nothing and the latter morrowind.
whenever i play hitman 2016 on my ps4 i am instantly reminded of all those hours i spent as a teen playing my pirated copy of hitman blood money on my mom's old pc. hitman 2016 just feels like the perfect and most natural sequel to blood money, 2016 just has godtier level design and gameplay, the music isnt that bad although not as memorable as jesper kyd, and the lack of accents might detract for some but for me it kinda adds to the charm. what a great game that 2016 is, especially after the linear movie fest that was hitman absolution.
KH3
ffvii remake
Nier Automata
KH3
Super Metroid. Actually never played it as a kid, but it's the first time in years I've enjoyed a game so much.
In many ways, the work of a critic is easy
sonic mania
I have the total opposite opinion. I hate how all the good kills aren't a result of your imagination but are already pre-thought and pre-determined in some sort of achievement counter. I hate how they locked away all your gear behind grinding levels for achievements rather than completing the game well through one, maybe two playthroughs at most before opening up the full kit. I feel like they tried to cram too much into too little to make up for the fact they were trying to sell me slices of a game, rather than a full experience. I've beaten every game that had the Silent Assassin rating to that rating several times, and autisticly played Silent Assassin, and HITMAN (TM R) felt like a quick pivot in the right direction but too overburdened with publisher bullshit like cheevos and microtransaction.
First part of Shadowbringers. Never expected to be walking around and discovering a new world again after playing the game for so long
>the ultimate experience is to feel like a kid again
lol
last night at this part. reminded me of easier days.
BOTW, Mario Odyssey, God of War, Kingdom Hearts 3, RDR2
The work of modern critics is easy, yes. The work of a legitimate critic isn't. Fun fact: the original critics were retired artists in the field they were critiquing. Modern critics usually can't even remotely do the thing they are criticizing and analyzing.
FF7 remake for me, specifically the Bombing Mission opening music.
So we all agree that Ratatouille is the best Pixar film, right?
Command and Conquer Remaster, it was my first PC game.
Remasters aside, I would say Rain World, made me break my over decade long FPS-only habit and realized how many great games I've been missing over the years.
Monster Hunter World, when I fought Great Jagras in week 1 of PC and everyone was still fumbling around, it really felt like we had to work together to take down a monster
Trials of Mana
Cant say, Pixar made a lot of great films.
Ratatouille was excellent, as was Toy Story, Incredibles, Up, etc.
Doom Eternal
Luigi's Mansion 3
Also this
Yakuza 0
Was the last game I played that actually felt like a game
Etrian Odyssey's music
I like Up more but Ratatouille is damn good.
The ratatouille critic still has bigger balls than most """"Critics""""" of today
Most people's favorite movies, especially with Pixar tend to be what resonates with them the most.
Profession wise, yeah, i fucking love Ratatouille as my favorite Pixar film
...
He's also not real.
Monster Hunter World
Ace Combat 7
Dmc5
