I still haven't played odyssey. is it just more of origins? I enjoyed origins but had to take a year long break midway through it because I got burned out .

I hate it because they fired Patrice Désilets who was building an effective trilogy, and they've been scrambling with alternatives ever since. I hate it because they always play it safe instead of pushing real boundaries. I hate the blatantly worst Mary Sue MC in AAA games in the latest games. I just completed Origins (did all quests, all locations) a few weeks and tried to play Odyssey last week. Odyssey is more Origins but with waaaayyy more grind. I played like 8 hours and I don't think I'm going back. You will probably get burned out too.

Kind of. Origins felt heavier and the enemies were less damage spongy. Odyssey has active skills now which is cool but in net terms I would say the combat is overall worse.

Been replaying Origins recently, it's very loosely an Assassin's Creed game, but still lots of fun.
Odyssey is dogshit though, tried replaying it and gave up at like 30%.
Also, fuck Layla and her terrible storyline.
