These are the big three console manufacturers
Say something nice about each of them.

Microsoft won't have a console next gen the series x will be a colossal failure
Nintendo will always have its safety net niche and gimmicks
Sony will always win
>Microsoft won't have a console next gen the series x will be a colossal failure
I said something NICE
Nintendo, you're always fun and based most of the time. You focus on great games instead of "cinematic experiences", and that makes you great.
Sony, you were great during the PS2 era. A modchip, a high end DVD burner, and DVD-R media is all I needed.
Microsoft, you had some nice original games like Fable. You look like you will have the best console in the upcoming generation. If you letting Sega sell the Series X in Japan as a Sega console is still true, then you're even more based.
Nintendo hasn't made a console in 8 years. They just do handhelds and mobile games now
>If you letting Sega sell the Series X in Japan as a Sega console
literally made up right here on Zig Forums and somehow (probably spread to reddit) major outlets are falling for it
it is 100% not true
Nigger
Fag
Nigger fag
Sony had my favorite single player games
Nintendo has my favorite memories of childhood games
xbox had my favorite online games
MS: very consumer-friendly lately
Nintendo: the only one that still makes handhelds
Sony: P O W E R O F T H E S S D
I know it was all speculation, but I'm hoping, somehow it will still happen and they will announce it later on. I'm hopeless.
why do you want it to happen? unless you;re in japan it wont matter for you
I honestly dont think it would help xbox sell in japan that much it would prbably help a little but not lead to massive sales
Sony = Gay
Nintendo = G.O.A.T.
Microsoft = Shit
Arguing that Sony don't need a mascot is one thing. But pretending like they have one is just pathetic.
In before
In before Toro and Kuro. They don't even exist in the west.
they have many
jak/daxter
ratchet/clank
kratos
nathan drake
>why do you want it to happen?
I think it will help Sega out financially and help them produce more games. Bonus if Microsoft doesn't but-in on certain decisions at Sega, like censorship. It might revive some classic IPs, even if it's just for smaller stuff.
It may help XBox sell in Japan, because it's the message it sends. Japan is highly ritualistic and into symbolism. Since Sony moved their game offices to California, XBox can easily send a message that's something on the lines of "Sony abandoned Japan, we want to embrace Japan and it's heritage. We'll help revive a proud Japanese developer in Sega" or something like that, especially if it's branded as a Sega product.
>Sony
It makes Zig Forums seethe

Uhhh... I like green
Sony, you make some fantastic hardware and have really great third party support.
Nintendo, you always know how to make something incredibly unique (for better or for worse) and will always be it up with some great first party support.
Xbox, thanks for porting most of your games to PC so I don't have to buy you.
>sony
great games and solid overall console hardware. p5r is one of my favorite games
>nintendo
smash bros and splatoon are pretty fun. I played mario odyssey as well.
>xbox
the xbox one s is probably my favorite console design and it's nice and quiet as well. definitely the best hardware overall in my opinion.
This. The Wii U was their last console. A damn good one too, but handled worse than SEGA Saturn in the West. Too bad it semi-Dreamcasted Nintendo, though. Maybe they'll consider making a home console again, but I don't see it happening.
>p5r is one of my favorite games
Doubt. If P5 was actually your style of game then you'd have played it before P5R was even a thing. And if you did play P5 before P5R then the fact that you had to repurchase and replay the game should have had an impact on your impression of it.
Seriously. Fuck Royal.
I don't understand why any of them are still making home consoles. I guess Playstations still sell okay, but it's a slowly dying market
i did play p5. I just prefer royal more, fren.
>Playstation, Nintendo, and Xbox are all blacked
>inb4 "b-but PCmaster-"
>Microsoft and Windows are balcked too Intel and AMD are blacked as well.
So what now?
I've always liked Sony's hardware and I still prefer their controller over others. I still use the same PS3 controller I got with the PS3 13 years ago for my PC and it has no issues.
I still love Nintendo's old games. I've played them for I don't know how long, but they never seem repetitive. I'm playing Mario World 2 as we speak.
Never had an Xbox of any kind and I only played the 360 for about 30 minutes once at a friend's. I can't really comment on it because of that. Plus I hate Microsoft.
>Xbox are all blacked
>Microsoft and Windows are balcked too
literally all the same company
xbox has the best controllers
the symmetrical sticks thing is dumb
Yeah but each has a different purpose right?
>the symmetrical sticks thing is dumb
I've heard people say this and it doesn't make any sense. I've asked people before what they don't like about it and it's always been "when you push them together your thumbs hit each other" and I'm not sure how anyone could manage to do that.
Why you would push them together I don't know unless you're wanting to run around in circles and how what part of your thumb are you using that they'd even come into contact with each other if you did push them together?
It's on par with "how do I use an N64 controller if I don't have three hands?" as far as I'm concerned.
running around in a game tht lets you control the camera can cause your thumbs to collide
I have small hands and it happens all the time on dualshock 4 I understand why sony doesnt go asymmetrical because symmetrical is a playstation tradition and if they switched it now everyone would just say theyre copying xbox but I prefer asymmetrical
>running around in a game tht lets you control the camera can cause your thumbs to collide
I'm not just saying it, I've genuinely never had it happen once. If it has I've never ever noticed. You put your thumb pads on the sticks, I don't see how they can collide unless you're using the knuckle/join part of your thumb instead of the pad.
Sony: Stand back boy, I don't know where we are but this doesn't look good. Ready the bow.
Nintendo: If you only knew how bad things really are
Microsoft: Where the fuck am I?
I use my thumbs and like I told you it happens
im a manlet trust me i have small hands and yet it still happens enough to be noticeable
>Sony
If the PS3 couldn't sink them, nothing will. There's also one or two games that make me wanna buy a their consoles/handhelds.
>Nintendo
They made me break my five game rule just to play Metroid Prime 4, eventually.
>Microsoft
They have the better service of the three, even if they can't make a worthwhile game if their lives depended on it.
Their live E3 conferences used to be a riot. Literally the epitome of "so bad it's good"
>snoy of war
Thats not Ricky Bobby
I thinks everyone sees the writing on the walls.
>Nintendo is likely locked into the handheld thing
>Xcloud and Gamepass are only going to be expanded on
>Sony is going to expand PSN for PC is going to grow plus Sonybwill likely come out with an xCloud competitor
>Even SEGA is doing FOG gaming with Japanese arcades.
I honestly laughed every gen when people said it would be the end of the home console. This time, though, I think we are damn close to the end of them.
