ITT Great games that are overhated
Hunter Taylor
Justin Thompson
it's not even released, there's no way you can call it great nor shit without having played or even seen gameplay yet.
Angel Adams
I agree. We should be more open to giving it a chance because it looks amazing imo
John Bennett
We don't know shit about the game just yet, we really need more info on the battle system and then we can confirm whether it'll be a good game or not.
Plan and write out your posts better next time
Matthew Foster
>Overhated
I remember people who had hopes over Sticker Star as well, user. The game's not even released and it is ridiculous to judge it even before it's released, but this is the same fan base that keeps holding their expectations too high even though Nintendo shadow dropped it as if it were nothing with its release two months away from it.
It's Intelligent Systems again and hardly of their focus on the actual IP. It's going to be as flanderized as Sticker Star was and its origami puns taken to the extreme just because they're far too busy using their writers for perhaps the next Fire Emblem title.
Ayden Morales
Well I think the game will be GOOD and thats MY opinion. Stop saying I can't like a game
Adam Russell
Obligatory
Benjamin Cooper
Oh you've played it?
Jonathan Powell
Bad Banjo game, but a mediocre game on its own merits. I don't hate it, but even what it was going for wasn't done very well.
Isaac Williams
saying its going to be a rancid pile of shit is just as ignorant as saying its going to be a undeniable 10/10
its not so much you like the look of it at all, its just that you seem to have already decided its going to be great with no real information
Jack Cook
I'm not. You're allowed to think it might be good or like it. Everyone is allowed to have opinions. My fear is that even with relatively low expectations or a slight hope, IS fails to deliver. I have indeed played the original, but am not against innovation. I'm just not very thrilled over IS's insistence to make the Paper Mario series as paper-thin as their puns, while severely underwhelming the plot and just doing the bare minimum, hoping that a battle system overhaul will "fix" things, which I'll hold no opinion about since the game isn't released and thus, no one can try it as of yet.
Henry Hughes
As much as i want to piss off TTYD fags, we can't assume that just yet.
We already know everything is going to be a giant improvement from Color Splash, but we need confirmation that battles have a purpose.
After that, we can smugly shitpost while they try to nitpick OC characters, the paper theme and whatnot
Dominic Jenkins
I don't even care if it doesn't have wacky original character designs as long as the fucking combat has a purpose. I enjoyed Paper Jam, and I'll enjoy this too if doing anything actually feels gratifying.
Dominic Clark
Well Nintendo is behind it and they don't release bad games so this is irrelevant
Aiden Gray
Adam Gonzalez
Yeah I can't wait to show the haters how much fun I'm having when it comes out. It's gonna be so good and they know it
Ayden White
>I just want TTYD 2 with original characters
Based opinion. A good game could be made out of sticker star mechanics maybe though, but both games we have seen so far were far from it.
Blake Roberts
I'm trolling haha but the quality of Nintendo games is superb so theres no reason to doubt them.
Blake Ortiz
Did you see the trailer? It has everything that TTYD fans wanted
Jaxson Torres
>Poorly implemented
Badly executed is as good as it gets and more accurate. There's good ideas and bad ideas. In those two games, it was a "thought-to-be good idea" that simply fell short because they don't know how to execute it. This being IS, I doubt they've changed much around the house, especially with their focus now being on its most popular franchise.
What people should be looking onto is; who is directing these (or involved in the backstage)? Are these the exact same people behind the former two? I'm not talking IS, but people specifically. Who's helping and if is there someone that can somehow redeem Origami King while their focus is away or if they're the same persons unwilling to learn and help with the current situation that think a overhaul is what it needs to get rather than improvement/combination of older elements.
Ayden Bailey
Just play Bug Fables, it's already the best Paper Mario game.
Aaron Roberts
Origami King is literally TTYD but with a more serious story. Thats all we wanted
Ryan Ward
It's not even out yet retard
Brody Parker
>Origami King is literally TTYD
Not with that combat system
Brody Gutierrez
>I just want TTYD 2
Fucking this
Christopher Evans
Daily reminder that Paper Mario's last good game released before the last F-Zero game. Paper Mario has been dead for longer than F-Zero, let that sink in.
Ian Carter
It's not literally TTYD until it has a purposeful combat system.
Wyatt Hall
As a vehicle building puzzle game it's kinda fun. But there's just too much empty nothing in that game.
Liam Barnes
If your implying Color Splash is overhated, your absolutely wrong, like the other user said with the Based Picture, Color Splash has problems that distracts you from it's otherwise great level design and quality.
Cameron Williams
Mathew 7:1-7:2 Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you
Benjamin Peterson
I pirated it and quit after 5 hours. Kind of hard to justify paying any money for BF when Dolphin emulator and TTYD are free.
Joseph Lopez
That passage means the judging of another's spirit which you should never do. It's tied to forgiveness and to not forgive someone is to have judged them as God which is blasphemy and the work of the devil.
In any case, what did that user judge? Critiquing another's work isn't judging. There's a subtle difference in practice that equates to a major difference in principle.
Jaxon Evans
>implying
Are you legit?
