As soon as I entered the first dungeon and realized it’s more of a slog than even 3’s copy paste dungeons, because at least all I had to do then is quickly run up to a guy and press x, not fucking hide around and wait for them to turn, only to watch a 3 second STYLiSH sequence that wastes 8 hours of my life in total for every character I encounter. The brain dead easy difficulty and even worse characters than 4 were just the icing on the cake, this game is a fucking travesty and I thought you couldn’t top 4 in shittiness

It's my favorite, especially taking Royal into account, but they're all good.

5 has the worst cast but gameplay and style make up for it. 3 has the best cast, but 70% of the story is uneventful garbage. Only the endgame is strong. 4 just didn't feel like it lived up to its potential. I don't think it's bad or even much worse than 3, but the whole "face myself" thing was a weak plot device.

Tartarus is unironically the best dungeon between the three games because it doesn't arbitrarily impose as many restrictions on the player as the later games do. In theory, you could do it in its entirety on the last day of the game, whereas the subsequent games (especially 5) streamline it so much that you have to follow a rigid progression. Tartarus is honest, whereas P5's dungeon are dishonest.

I like 5's cast, maybe the most, but 4's cast is the most grounded in reality. They have relatively normal problems and backgrounds with the most out there one being Naoto, but even her role as a detective is more grounded than the most out there one in P5 with Futaba being a genius hacker at the age of 15.

Have you played the fucking game? Makoto basically takes control and becomes the leader, and all the characters go YASS QUEEN. Joker is a good middle ground where they don’t suck his dick like Yu or hate him like Door.
