It is not going to be Helix as that would be too damn good. My bet is on Ribbon Girl because Toothpaste man is already an assist and they probably want another girl in the DLC. Pretty lame choice though.

yes because it's not like those 8 fighters are represented beyond visuals, I think it's better to focus on one character to let them best represent themselves

Misango is probably the single least likely possibility out of the cast.

And Max would be the second or third most boring pic to use to make a unique fighter to represent fully.

I'd say I most want Max Brass or Dr. Coyle. That said I like almost all the characters so we'll see

I'm honestly fine with all of them (except 4 because it's honestly the most boring outcome), but I feel like costumes and echos are one of the best ways to make everyone happy that for some reason Nintendo never considers. I still feel like the amount of Echoes we got was terrible considering how many potential options were available.

If it's just one of the characters, none of them have a single ability that has much to expand upon. You could easily have Outcome 1 with

It bothers me immensely that there are 11 Dragon Quest games and we only got 4 alts. Hackurai could have easily modeled 4 more of the main characters from the 7 other games

It is an entirely new Arms character that will be released both as DLC for Smash Bros. and for Arms in the world's first instance of multi-game DLC. You purchase it once and get the fighter for both games.

Not really, since many of them have a conflict with the four Heroes they picked

This leaves them with I, III, IV, VI, VIII, and XI
That's too few to reach the max of eight, so if you used all of them then you'd have to pick which two would arbitrarily have recolors
Rather than that mess, they chose the four most popular/iconic out of the group and gave them all a recolor each

We really don’t need character alts for ARMS. Each fighter has too many differences from one another for it to be a fair representation of the game (aside from maybe Spring Man and Springtron together). Out of the two multi-characters options though, 2 at least seems somewhat reasonable while 1 is just a dumb excuse to cram in as many characters as possible.

You're being too anal about it. I don't remember certain characters in Smash being able to do what they do, like Ness, and Lucas

To be fair, they could have used the girl versions of Erdrick and Solo to bring it to eight different designs, but I feel going with the Top 4 instead was a smart decision.

Because that would be too good to be true. Can you give me a good reason why Sakurai would do this? Are there some kind of stats on his popularity or anything?
