Unironically one of the scariest games ive ever played
maybe im just a pussy though
Great game. Reminiscent of RE1 at times.
haha, same
you're just a pussy
I really liked it, with the mods on the making someone will surely fix Chris face, I'm just hoping RE8 is good and ties things in, I didn't like the open ending of RE7 specially with the DLCs.
Lucas Baker is bae.
Would you sorta call it a reimagination of RE1?
the beginning up until you get your hand stapled is a bit cringe, it is too on rails and weird. the game shines from that point on, really wish my first experience had been with a be headset, I'd have lost my shit on a couple instances.
>Jack and Marguerite are actually still good and it was just Eveline controlling them
Honestly ruined it for me. I like the idea of an innocent person being completely and irreversibly changed into something evil at their very core. That's what Jack and Marguerite looked like at first but then they just fuck it up.
Really fucking gay zoomer youtuber shit.
okay zoomer
How would change it if you could?
Shit like all RE with adaptive difficulty
Does it actually have adaptive difficulty? Shit, was actually about to buy the game until I read your comment.
Can you fit any more buzzwords in your post?
I'd like to see what a sequel would look like with either a greater classic RE slant, or something with a tighter action experience closer to re4
I would've loved to have upgraded my weapons to shoot at more interesting looking zombies
Mia's chapter could've easily been fixed by starting her off with a melee weapon and giving her a similar power progression to Ethan, maybe she could've stashed the weapons she finds in a locker at the end of the flashback and Ethan stumbles across them later
I didn't think that the game was very scary, and I played in PSVR and then again on PC.
I think it's because the enemies are so predictable, also in vr if you look around you can often spot jumpscares ahead of time. my favourite time when this occurred was during the cutscene before the Jack chainsaw duel, if you look behind you in VR as you're picking up the key attached to the meat hook you can see the lanky motherfucker grinning like an idiot and it's quite funny
What I hated about the plot was the twist that The old lady was Eveline
me too, ruined my fap
I guess. It lacked the mystery of RE1 though, where you;re just exploring some random mansion you've taken refuge in and uncovering the truth of the viral outbreak.
Seems like they really only could have done that once though.
every RE game from 4 onwards has it
One of the best comebacks in videogame history. Really hope RE3make was just a fluke and we continue getting great Resi games with RE8.
It was really good up until halfway when you go to the wrecked ship part and the mine, and the scripted parts kinda suck of replay.
WHERE ARE THE NUDE MODS?
The first half (Jack, Marguerite and the kids room) were kino and scary as fuck. The other half (Lucas, boat and final fight against Evelyn) were pretty boring.
I had more fun with RE7 than RE2R. I dont even care for the 1st person horror explorer fad this game was clearly trying to monetize from and I enjoyed it more.
Loved this game although the enemy design got boring and everything starting from the boat kinda lost steam. There should have been a mod to add zombies instead of molded
I felt it started to suck when you went to the Old House. What I thought would be yet another Spencer-esque mansion (aka metroidvania-like level design ) turned out to be this games`s version of the fucking guardhouse (aka linear shit).
Best RE game
A wonderful example of returning to your roots
I really hope the next games will be like this instead of the over the top type of story the series was
* sorry for my bad english
play it on madhouse mode r-tard
>returning to your roots by being nothing like the original and by being a boring fps that does little well
This is the first RE game I fully completed, and recently I decided to go on to tackle every game in the series (Currently at RE6, big yikes)
Honestly I think it's one of the best games in the series
It has some issue with its passing (Last third, especially the mines were really boring)
Now I have the DLC to go back to and I'm looking forward to that
It was a weird Texas Chainsaw Massacre rip off, and everything after you leave the house is lame. Centering around a little girl is such a tired horror cliché.
Is the DLC worth it?

Yes, but in my opinion they are a little bit overpriced
breddy gud.
how was that one guy able to kill monsters by punching them?
