This just one district or whole map?

It’s the whole city section of the map. All 5 districts

Is this a joke?

vice city, home

I remember them saying in the beginning that they wanted the game to have a lot of vertical space. Should I keep hoping that's true or give up?

No one knows for sure yet. this may be more accurate and was released by cdpr. Still looks small though.

badlands looks big during the 4 second car gif

plus all the buildings.

Forgot picture, oops

>Has skyscrapers
>Fondly remember not being able to go into half the buildings in GTA V

If CDPR remedies this, then that could be where they’re hiding the rest of the map.

metro maps are irrelevant to city scale unless we know how much distance there is between stops, or if the metro is even usable by the player, they are not meant to convey actual geographic information, just train lines

If you get hyped for a game chances are you’ll be disappointed

God fucking dammit it really will just be GTA with a shitty skin.

imagine not having enough experience and brain cells to rub together to comprehend that map size is completely irrelevant to a game's quality
thank you op for yet another post in here that reminded me how much of a fucking boomer i am

>Night City

Yikes...

This is a good thing because if the map is smaller its much more detailed usually. Los Santos was big but had fuck all to do. Deep as an ocean etc

>world border awkwardly bisects through neighborhood
uh oh

>Zig Forums: BIG EMPTY MAPS FULL OF NOTHING ARE SHIT, GIVE ME A SMALL WELL MADE MAP WITH LOTS TO DO
>also Zig Forums: wtf, why is night city so small, bros they said the game would encompass the entire united states wtf

lmao!

>because if the map is smaller its much more detailed usually
screencapping this for later when we find out its a wasteland with warp rooms

>not keeping any of the aesthetics traditionally associated with cyberpunk, none
>remove almost all the iconic classes
>make it into a dull shoot-em-up with flowing weak spots
>it's not even an RPG any more it's an "open world shooter adventure" or some shit

Why the fuck not just rename the city "Sunshine City" to go with the rap soundtrack and California aesthetics.
What the fuck are you doing CDPR.

they've already show gameplay where you make an entire trip from your apartment, to a cyber doc, to a mission inside a building with multiple floors, an elevator, and a whole bunch of enemies, all with no loading screens

Yeah, but Los Santos had jack shit to do in it and you could count the number of enterable buildings on your hands, with half of them only being available in one-time story missions. Also GTA is all about driving vehicles, flying planes, and traversing the open world while escaping cops and shit in the most action way possible, because GTA is a action game, not in rpg. Cyberpunk, on the other hand, is an rpg above anything else. It’s not about driving cars all over the city. Yeah it has cars, but that’s not really the focus on the game as much as it is in gta. The city is smaller but appears to be far more interactive than the large one of gta, and as others have mentioned it’s supposedly has a sense verticality too.

TLDR: large maps for a game focused on driving makes sense for gta, more condensed maps make sense for an rpg like Cyberpunk 2077

Californians are a selfish race, user. Everything must be a reflection of "Me," unfamiliar, unwelcoming environments are literal genocide.

>Cyberpunk, on the other hand, is an rpg above anything else
It's not.
They changed the description because they could no longer call what was being made an RPG.
It's an open-world, action-adventure-story.

GTAV is the densest open world game ever made

Its a shooter RPG.
Does the map really benefit from being fuckhuge? Deus Ex did just fine

Well that sucks. Is it true that the development kind of turned to shit halfway and some people left because of the change in direction?

>iconic classes
>aesthetics traditionally associated with cyberpunk
So you're upset that they aren't sticking to the source material while being upset that they're sticking to the source material?

Please tell me its atleast all connected and not packed with loading screens

good. if you care about scale over detail you're a retard

Never had sunny happy-go-lucky Californian days in any of the Cyberpunk 2020 campaigns I played. We did illegal shit, and you do that at night. And even the days were overcast and rainy, like the source books described. With an oppressive, dark atmosphere.

But you don't give a shit, because you're a faggot contrarian who will argue anything as long as you get to argue.
I don't know what you want this game to be but we've already played Vice City.

The game isn’t out yet retard, how are we supposed to know?
