Once my sister was heckling me playing Wii sports so I smacked her with the wiimote. It was fine.
Also sometimes when I play Dark Souls I'll squeeze the controller really hard until I hear it creak but then I realize, "holy shit I paid for this it is a good I own this is just a game" and I stop- so far it's still working.
