Do you regret buying a Vita?
Do you regret buying a Vita?
It was my fault really. Bought it for P4G alone and never even played it.
never bought one, I bought a 3DS instead and later a 2DS XL to homebrew.
I do not regret it at all
I regret not buying one actually.
Fuck no lol
It had better games than whatever the 3ds and Wiiu was shitting out
>t.bought one in 2013
I spent $40 on a PSTV and it was a great purchase. I wish I had bought a second.
Tell me why
Never bought one since I don't think I would benefit much. I own a PS3, PS4 and PC. A lot of what game out on the Vita was also released on PS3 and PS4 and maybe ported to PC later thus a lot of games that seemed interesting in the Vita catalog I already owned on those other platforms and being portable isn't enough for me to pick that option over others.
No, good for psp fightan games
>vita
>games
That sounds like an immense amount of cope, user.
It's a great portable emulation machine and the PSP backwards compatibility is nice. I haven't touched it since I hacked my Switch though
no, I still play games on it to this day
why would I regret it?
no
best dpad around
Ain't nothin but a heartache
No, it has the best dungeon crawlers of the last decade
>Beating a dying horse because of P4G getting a port
cope faggot
the vita had games
Soul sacrifice and gravity rush were really good Vita games, so was echoshift even if it was a bit short
Bought it for P4G but now apparently that’s coming to PC. So now I don’t know why I own one.
Same, got that $40 Vita TV with controller deal. Mostly to play Danganronpa games and Cyber Sleuth.
I still use it for Me & My Katamari and plan to play Muramasa. And the skittles are the ABSOLUTE COMFIEST system menu of all time.
If my PSP didnt die I probably would, 90% of my playtime is PSP and PSX content
Same, I primarily bought it to replace my old PSP that died
>Beating a dying horse because of P4G getting a port
I don't really get this
P4G wasn't even a new game, it was literally just a port of an existing one with some new content, don't know why people got so obsessed with it
I mainly play the enhanced EDF ports with mine.
no because it let me play p4g while at college
I love my vita
I should really play it more
It has a lot of great stuff on there
Dungeon Travelers 2 is fantastic btw
Fuck yes. I had no idea about the PSP emulator being perfect so I figured I'd justify the purchase by playing PSP games on it. P4G and Muramasa ReBirth are the only two exclusives I got it for and now that P4G is coming Muramasa seems that much more likely. Literally every game worth playing for the system is on PC or PS4 at this point. It's a fucking paper weight spent almost $200 on.
no
why so many threads the past few weeks?
N-N-No! I-I love my Vita!
I only ever bought two games. So yes.
Vitagen trying to drum up support for their general
now that persona 4 golden is pretty much confirmed for pc, i'm glad i didn't buy it.
why did you buy a ps vita for "exclusives"?
hell, both of the games you mentioned aren't even exclusive games, just ports with exclusive content
Vita is for people who want handhelds. If you think a PC or a PS4 is better than a handheld experience, then the Vita was never for you.
Vita is based and redpilled. I still use mine.
Na, I wouldn't have gotten into one of the my favourite games this gen if I didn't.
I need to get round to hacking it now so it's worthwhile again
No. I bought it used for like 60€, played P4G and then modded it. Meaning that I can now play all vita games, psp games and ps1 games. Seems like a good deal to me.
Can you still trophy, tho
Yeah but I'm still glad that I did. Had some really neat gimmicks and features that went unused reflecting a lost gamble on the future of the medium.
I don't think I'll ever buy a new gen console going forward.
not really because I'm retarded and love playing jank ass degenerate japanese games like drive girls and senran kagura before they were ported
the only thing that makes me play it from time to time nowadays are it still having most of the localized vanillaware games, mainly to replay muramasa, and some ps1 classics I bought for backlog
>P4G JUST got a 720p/1080p patch
Yeah, I don't think so
Yes. Sony doesn't give a shit about hacked systems.
yes
with a hacked vita you can play online too, and even access the ps store
>tfw no handheld to play emulate ps2 and n64
>muh trophies
eat shit
I was going to buy it to play P4G but just kept delaying it. I'm glad I ended up waiting
nope
spent $250 at launch, EIGHT YEARS AGO and never looked back.
still the only place you can play Muramasa, THE COMPLETE EDITION...............
because its not "locked on vita anymore" is the reason why. im surprised PC is going to get it at all, why PC? why not PS4 first and only PS4?
I regret not getting one too, seeing what people are doing with homebrew and other shit makes me a bit annoyed, looks comfy as fuck playing ps1 games in bed.
Worth it for pic related, Muramasa Rebirth and I was able to catch on with all the franchises I didn't know from psp such as Tactics Ogre LUTC, Persona, Valkyria Chronicles, Valkyrie Profile, Final Fantasy Tactics, etc. It is also great for playing Silent Hill 1, RE3, Vagrant Story and Parasite Eve since I replay them a lot. It also feels great and the oled looks great.
>Do you regret buying a Vita?
Honestly it isn't the Vita and to a greater extent Sony's fault, it's the people buying and complaining for not understanding the art of the Vita, like the Vita is a good buy and everyone else saying otherwise are too brainlet to understand how it works; the criticism of the Vita although many say are it's downgrades, is merely a brainlet interpretation. E.g. Having 3G on the Vita would be good but Sony released ahead of their consumers that it would hurt the battery life, data charges and more issues. It's nice to have a company to look after you rather then fall into issues such as losing the stylus pen on the Nintendo DS. In short, the Vita is a worthy handheld that I and many do not regret.
