Do you ever get post-nut clarity while playing videogames? I can be halfway there on a game Im really enjoying (old, new, whatever), and suddenly find it very pointless. Everything becomes samey. Gameplay is repetitive and feels like you played it a million times. The music you loved so much gets old. The nip dub you loved so much becomes some weird noises made by some silly fish heads. Its not with every game, but happens from time to time, and it could be with anything. Anyone can relate?

I get post nut clarity while posting here a lot. Someone will post some stupid shit and I'll write a huge post debunking it but I just alt+f4 because 99% of the time no one will read what you have to say and just wojak at you like the redditors they are. 9/10 times I alt+f4 it's because I see this bullshit and I ask myself "is it really worth having to do like 10+ of these stupid things even with the 'hit refresh until you get a normal one' trick, knowing no one will have anything intelligent to say in response?" and the answer is almost always no.

Happened to me when playing DMC5. I enjoyed the previous ones (skipped 2) and then just started going through 5 and by the time i got to the virgil reveal i just kinda stopped. Like for some reason all of it just unclicked and I couldn't enjoy myself at all.

I remember playing that Mad max game that came out a couple of years ago when it happened. I was driving in the wasteland collecting shit. I try to write at least a page and a half a day, study language for an hour a day minimum, and just try to learn to draw well enough to make my own pornography, which is an uphill climb because I'm 22 and I've never drawn before.

Thanks. I know the secret is to develop routines but my sleep schedule is completely fucked, and next month I start my senior year residency so that's 36 hours per week unpaid on top of work and course relates studies, so I think that'll be the nail in the coffin to kill any gaming time I have.
My wife loves games though. She's working through the Tomb Raider series and is about to go through Skyrim for the first time. Her tastes are vanilla as fuck but she likes it.
