>full of useless fluff
>the entire game is a linear corridor
>purposefully put mini games designed to waste your time as much as possible
>ABSOLUTELY NO COMBAT 90% of the game is walking and talking
>what combat there is its either over in a couple of seconds or you need a certain magic element to stop an enemy from being immune and/or stunning a character every couple of seconds
>most of the music sounds like generic hollywood trash, completely ruined
>graphics range from looking great to literal 480p pngs
>all the side characters sound the same
>stupid shit like dancing mini games for no reason
>doesnt even follow the story of ff7, completely made up bullshit
I regret buying this shit.
Full of useless fluff
that fucking sucks
I was blown away by the graphics
>grafix fag
I loved how midgar a two hour experience was now a 40 hour elaborate lore dump, but you prolly hate FF7 sooo
Literally follows the story faithfully until after the highway stop telling lies.
>Shinra blows up the reactor instead of avalanche
Kill yourself and stop pretending you played the original
That's a hazy detail but sure, one thing is slightly different and the game does that fairly frequently to expand the narrative, I suppose you're also one of those retards that thinks the original was better with Hojo wanting to breed Aerith with Red XII instead of a SOLDIER.
First
>literally nothing is changed
Now
>so who cares if it's changed its nbd
Disengenious fuck, don't talk to me
The original game set a Graphical Benchmark. It's remake is even a step back in the visual department.
>>doesnt even follow the story of ff7, completely made up bullshit
Wait til part 2, Nomura is just getting warmed up. lmao.
NEW BAD OLD GREAT
And you're point was the game doesn't follow the story jackass which it does, every major plot point is covered and generally expanded on, like the reactor adds a decent bit of characterization to the throwaways from the original.
>i loved how midgar was a two hour experience
holy fuck you retards keep lowering it and lowering it. next time will be "barely over an hour"
>it follows the story perfectly, except for all those parts where it doesn't, but those are actually just better now
Retarded nigger
>chapter 3
>chapter 6
>chapter 8
>chapter 11
>chaoter 15
>chapter 17
>chaotsr 18
I said faithfully not perfectly, the event are there but they are expanded upon I know this may be really hard for someone with such a low mental capacity as yourself to understand.
it was two hours give or take in the original mister no reading comprehenday

step one: dont be a zoomer
Pretty based
no it wasn't. it was at LEAST 4 hours first time around. And thats reasonably the lowest. Speedruns for the midgar section are 1h 30m
>expanded upon
>completely changed for the worse
pick the second one, nigger
I don't think i can go through with it a second time anons.
don't worry, it won't happen this time they'll write it out
>Speedruns for the midgar section are 1h 30m
I am talking a rough ball park estimate, if you can rush through it in under two hours, then when I say it I mean 2+
what are we even arguing about?
Here’s my take: I was pretty excited for this remake, played it at midnight of release, didn’t touch a single other game until I finished it, and ultimately loved it, but I don’t think I’ll ever play it again.
two hours is not representative of how long midgar actually is you stupid fuck. to get 1hr30 you have to forgo doing ANYTHING other than progressing the plot, beating bosses as fast as humanly possible, beating minigames the first time, knowing exactly what to do at all times, skipping through all the text, naming your characters 1 letter names so it comes out faster during dialogue. its not even close to two hours unless you know what you're doing, and are just trying to beat it as fast as possible. Midgar is not a "two hour experience", its not even close
You really like saying nigger don't you? That's subjective although I do agree it is one of the changes I'm not huge on since it really only affects Jessie.
Did you even play the original game Midgar section faggot?
>tfw boomer cognition attempts to preserve itself by ignoring the same aspects in the original
Based?
Pretty much this. There's no replay value and most of its value to me was the cathartic release of seeing the environments and characters in current gen graphics after over a decade of waiting. I really loved it the first playthrough but I don't look back on it fondly at all.
They're keeping it in. They building up the bond stronger so the floor will bit harder when it happens.
