OHNONO SNOYBROS
that's a spicy enchilada!
oof
absolute legend
Heh.
That's not quite it though.
300000 accounts -were- hacked.
What they actually announced was that they've fixed the issue and fixed the security hole. And while they shared these news, they updated the last figures with the full figures. But these are still accounts that were hacked in April. It's no longer an on going issue unlike the last time they addressed this.
If you're unsure. Just like last time. You can log in and check your account's user activity and see if anyone else have logged in using your accounts.
But Nintendo have also changed and sent new passwords to afflicted accounts. So if that hasn't happened to you, then you're most likely fine.
I don't get it
>Pays for garbage online service
>Online service gets hacked
>I dont care because its not affecting me.
Everytime with nintendo fanbois
>B-BUT SONY!!!!!!!!!!!1111
Lmao, like fucking clockwork. Keep seething rent free, nintendies.
huh?
zing
Holy shit, have mercy on snoys
happened to me; within the span of 4 minutes they switched their info, de-linked and linked to their epic account, bought 100$ worth of Vbucks for Fortnite with my linked paypal, and bam.
Was kinda funny because the first email I got was from paypal about the transaction, then the de-linking account, then login/language changes. How someone signing in from Chile and doing a ton of changes in the matter of a few minutes doesn't flag shit is beyond me. Just ended up calling nintendo, took like 5-10m, got it sorted and refunded. Still funny, though.
>losing fucking Vita scraps is comparable to hundreds of thousands of people's personal information getting hacked due to their awful rice farmer shit eating online infrastructure
Thanks user

ctrl +f sony
How does that excuse Nintendo's incompetence?
>I-it's okay w-when n-nintendo d-does i-it!!!!
You can't even make this shit up. How delusional is Nintendogaf?
>but nintendo
Hm? Do you have an actual point?
the joke is sony gets hacked retard
It doesn't. The first poster in the chain was just making a fucking joke about how Sony had a reputation for major data breaches and that, not that Nintendo has had one, Sony has lost their "exclusivity" on data breaches.
The joke is in comparing data breaches to the number of previously exclusive to Sony tites that have gone multiplatform recently.
You fucking autist.
Holy shit.
I got suspended like a month and a half ago and still haven't been able to get in contact with them, it's like every time I go to the website they are busy and the support email doesn't have a "my account was suspended" option.
Took me a good 30 seconds to get but I laughed
Nigtendo
I don't care about my Nintendo account, as it has no info on it, and I pirate all my games on Switch/3DS.
...wait what's the joke here?
Why is everyone freaking out over this?
You're excusing Nintendo's incompetence by making the point of the thread a joke on Sony But keep letting Sony live rent free within your head and sucking that delicious nintendo cock, tendie.
Kneel.
don't get it, i guess the joke is nincels mass reply to anything they can pretend is funny
psn hack and persona 4
Something's definitely going on with my Nintendo Account.
Just tried logging into my Nintendo Online account through my switch and it did not accept any passwords. I even used a security question to log in via my phone and change the password there and it STILL doesn't work
nigga ps vita being ported to pc is living rent free to the point you brought it up unprovoked
>by making the point of the thread a joke on Sony
>oh no not my BRANDâ„¢
>Death Stranding
>not fun and happy
The person who made that pic obviously never played it. It's top comfy and plays like an arcade game.
Of course dumb niggers wouldn't know what two step authentication would be.
They're all like this
I bought an Xbox One off the Microsoft website under the expectation it would be here in a few days, it balloons out to a month to which I then ask for a refund and they have just fucking refunded it two fucking months later. They just hope you'll give up and not bother them.
BAZINGA ROFL XD
No one's trying to defend nintendo except the strawman in your head. It's a one line joke referencing Sony's data breaches and the current context of several Sony exclusives going multiplatform. It's just a somewhat humerous observation.
You're being unimaginably dense here.
I caught wind of this early on, and it's why I set up two factor authentication. I removed mh main Nintendo account from my switch when I hacked it, and alongside a dummy account my switch is always offline for the most part. All my credit card data was removed, and all my accounts across every platform use different passwords now. I think I'm safe (unfortunately ravaged by anxiety and ocd now though)
seethe little snoy
Not that user, but OP's actual topic would have gotten way more attention if it was actually new news. But it isn't. It's a small update to previously old news.
But when the news were news there were tons of threads lambasting Nintendo for like a full week almost.
But if you expect people to get as riled up now when it's but an update on an old, already known, already resolved issue. You're probably not going to get that.
Was the breach shit? Absolutely. Was it Nintendo's fault? Yeah. Do I care as much now as I did then? No. I don't have the energy for that and it's no longer an active issue.
lost
...am I just retarded or something I still don't get what the joke is.
And here we have another misdirection, this time blaming Microsoft. Nintendo can't do any wrong, because everyone else's doing it already! It's fucking ridiculous.
The joke is that the PlayStation Network had been prone to some major security breaches.
