Where the fuck is it?

it's on my xbox right now

July. I can't wait either. I'm autistic enough to keep having dreams about it.

Who cares?

Me, and you because you posted here.

soulless 343 garbage suckering retards in through surface level nostalgia pandering
>OMG WE'RE BACK ON HALO
>HOLY SHIT MASTER CHIEF'S BACK IN HIS CLASSIC ARMOR

>July
Show me where anyone claims July. I've only seen the vague "Holiday Season" release mentioned. And there's no way we get it a month from now with no gameplay (whether real or prettied up) whatsoever.

This thread reeks of Sony faggotry

It's going to be shown in July.
Yes but it's going to play like Halo 5's mythic arena which means no sprint or ads.

The game is currently a mess right now. Microsoft are not sure whether to release it at the intended time and have a lot of complaints about bugs and broken stuff or delay it until next year.

>It's going to be shown in July
How do you know this?

I'm fucking losing hope in this shit honestly. I've tried to give 343 so many chances, and they fucked up every time. They fucked Halo 4 and I thought that was the worst, but turns out the campaign really wasn't as bad as what was to come. Halo 5 was a dumpster fire. They managed to fuck up the release of MCC not once but twice. I'm not trying to say the game is going to be garbage, and I'm not a sonytard. I'm just sick of watching one of my favorite fucking game series get mishandled so much. The lack of gameplay or info or literally fucking anything about the game which is expected to have the largest development budget ever is concerning.

The only significant news I have seen about the game in the past few months is how the game is going to have microtransactions guaranteed. I'm starting to lose faith in this game actually redeeming the series.

Not defending his sourceless claim, but I could believe it. Every single release of a halo game in the MCC for PC has been a buggy mess. Reach, CE, and 2 all launched with glaring, gamebreaking bugs.

>How do you know this?
Use fucking google idiot

“Black Lives Matter.

Our community is hurting. The systemic inequalities our community experiences are once again center stage. Halo and 343I stand for equality and inclusion. We stand against the racism and injustice our Black community endures. Until change happens and Black Lives Matter, we will never truly be the community we strive to be.
As a result, the July event has been indefinitely postponed.”
lmao nice event fags.

343 are not the primary dev working on MCC, the reason why it's a buggy mess is because it's being pushed out the door early by MS and the amount of variables that need to be addressed when porting so many old games to a new platform with new features are immense

It's confirmed, I'm sure Halo Follower said something about it, also the game is scheduled to be released this year and this is the most important xbox online event where they will be showing everything, why wouldn't they show Halo Infinite? It's common sense

Cities can rebuild, Zach

In development, will be shown off in July.

>Use fucking google idiot
I did, it's all speculation. I've seen June, July, and August thrown around in several articles. I couldn't find a trustworthy source for it. Now I'm seeing that it should be shown at the Xbox One X event in July, which isn't a dedicated Halo Infinite showcase event, so I'm not going to assume shit.

Source? I can't find this on google.

Pushed out early? I thought they were missing their promised release windows for the games. I also wasn't aware 343 wasn't the main dev behind it. Were they also not the main dev behind the console MCC?

Funny how suddenly theres been an influx of Halo threads when Zig Forums never gave a fuck about Halo in the past.

didn't the creative director quit like 6 months ago?

In development hell

>Tim Longo
>Left August 2019
>Creative Lead of Halo 5 Guardians

Nothing of value was lost

>Tim Longo was also creative director for Star Wars: Republic Commando

How does someone go from being creative director for a game as great as Republic Commando go on to be the creative director for the absolute trash fire that is Halo 5?

He ruined Halo 5's campaign was taken off Infinite in early 2016, fucking Sony faggot.

Console MCC was like a frankenstein monster made by 5 different devs and PC MCC is being ported by Splash Damage and like a handful of 343 interns, everyone else is working in Halo:Infinite.

Holy shit I did not know this. Who the hell thought either of those plans was a good idea? Genuinely curious actually, is there a benefit to having 343 work with 5 other devs on a single project? Wouldn't it have been more cohesive if it was just one dev? I'm assuming because they were working actively on Infinite at the time.

I'm assuming the same was for the PC port, in that they had their main team on Infinite? That explains a lot, but it still sucks that it's caused this much bullshit in the releases of the games.

>odst firefight being added to mcc

>Xbox One X event in July,
It's the Series X event you stupid fucking braindead nigger.
>Which isn't a dedicated Halo Infinite showcase
It's an Xbox first party event though, the biggest of which is Halo...

>being this angry over shitty details and shitty naming conventions for a console

shiggy diggy

>"The collection was developed by 343 Industries in conjunction with Certain Affinity, Ruffian Games, Saber Interactive, Blur Studio, and United Front Games."
This were all of them, iirc 343 was in charge of the matchmaking of all the games. I guess it was because the original MCC and Halo 5 were being developed at roughly the same time.

Wait, really?

I wonder how hard it will break the MCC?

That is the dev team for the original MCC. The new MCC is only Splash Damage and Ruffian Games. However the argument for Halo 5 does make sense for the original. I'm not sure why I thought infinite was even in the picture back then.

Yes, ODST itself is being included as well.

>I wonder how hard it will break the MCC?
Everything that gets added to the MCC breaks the MCC.
