Will space legs be good?

If you like flying a space ship, yeah
We know too little about elite feet to know if it will be good or not

yes and yes

these carriers are dumb

How are they going to jew DLC2? Will H be required to buy V? I doubt they will make H free for all.

What do I buy and should I wait for the summer sale?

It's a fake sale. They are usually $7.50. Once they did $5.99.

wtf is a fake sale

>Was it good?
Not really
>Will space legs be good?
I seriously doubt it, why are the people who play space games always so fixated on being able to walk around instead of actually making the space parts better

>Was it good?
Could have been, but they completely fucked it up by caving to the forumdads.
>Will space legs be good?
Doubtful.

you only get digital game.

what the fuck are you talking about you retard

you don't get the box

"I didn't buy the game when it was on a cheaper sale, so this sale doesn't count."

It's for people that found EVE Online too exciting

If you play VR and have a headset this is by far the most comfy VR game by far. So perfect for it

The the pack that includes the expansion. Idk how cheap it usually goes when it's on sale so maybe wait

FA off bayon racing is way too fun in vr

I got the commander edition because it comes with everything apart from the upcoming space legs dlc.

Canyon*

People who like it have to try it in VR.

Mining surrounded by asteroids, jumping into binary systems (or even normal), the scale of stations etc

I play this game for like 10 hours every year since buying it in 2016. Takes a special kind of person to get thousands of hours out of it

Guessing space legs will be why I play it for 10 hours in 2021 then get tired of it again

lol

He's right though.

As a game, It's fun if you want something like an incremental idling game that allows you to use your progress to do other more interesting things later on and feel satisfied by the work you put in.
As a total package, it's a really immersive experience that makes you feel like you're performing a job at a point in time you'll never get to experience. The ships offer you a lot of control and customization options and playing with a HOTAS joystick is one of the coolest experiences I've had in the past few years. If you're not really into space and don't have patience, then this is probably one of the worst experiences you could go through.

As far as space legs go, I'm optimistic, but still worried about both not having a ship interior to walk around and interact with and only being able to visit planets with bland settings like moons and deserts. We'll see I guess.

it actually seems they're finally doing planets with atmosphere in Odyssey (the blue sky)

Thinking about getting a hotas.

What is the difference between a cheap hotas and an expensive one? Does it reall matter?

You are paying for the deadzone.

Number of buttons/switches and build quality

Ok, makes sense. Which ones are recommend for ED?

I have a cheap one (Thrustmaster T-Flight Hotas X Flight Stick) and it's suited fine for Elite Dangerous, but making smaller adjustments can be a pain. I don't think I'd recommend it for any combat scenario, but if you just want to fly around and feel like you're actually controlling your vehicle, it's perfect.

I'd like to be able to do some combat with one although it won't be what I mainly do. I'll also be using whatever one I get for X4 and SC.

I personally use an X-55, has enough switches to bind literally everything and I have had no issues with accuracy or feeling

Seen a few people using this, will have to watch some reviews.
